It was nice to see him show up, and also, holy crap he made Wardlow look so small!

I just thought it was funny, not really a knock. “Erick Rowa-“ “ERICK REDBEARD IS HERE!!” “Rowan is taking out Wardlow!” “.......REDBEARD” Oh no for sure it was, I actually just rewatched it, and I think just for clarifications sake it was Excalibur exclaiming it Jericho eventually just started calling him "Big Red" which is an even crazier callback... I remember when they tried to get that over for Rowan and it was a wet fart years ago and for some reason it just... worked better here. It worked here because it was a spontaneous call instead of being mentioned every 5 seconds in attempt to force it to get over.

What do you call it when you mark out and cry at the same time?

Also, it seemed blatant to me Excalibur was laughing a bit trying to “fight” Jericho about it being in a “Dude, we don’t need to be sued as well” way. But yeah, I don’t know if there’s a chance of Erick being signed but if he is actually retiring, it’s a heck of a way to go out even if the circumstances aren’t any way ideal.

Again, If Rowan is hired then why not make him the DO representative for Brodie Jr?

Again, If Rowan is hired then why not make him the DO representative for Brodie Jr? Because that's clearly 10's job, he's Brodie Jr's favorite. Redbeard can just be the muscle if he joins alongside 10 who is more a heavyweight than a monster hoss. Redbeard could provide a lot of multiman difference with the group as a third man or higher depending on how many people AEW puts in a match at any given time (We've seen they're willing to go very high)

It was nice to see him show up, and also, holy crap he made Wardlow look so small! Yeah, Erick is a huge dude, and Wardlow's strong as a truck, but he's not really super tall or anything. Like, the match he had with Luchasaurus, the latter had a good deal of height on him, and I think he's a couple of inches shorter than Erick, himself.

It was great moment booking him for the show. I'm not sure they will sign him long term. But appearing last night in tribute to Brodie was great.

I won't say he made the show, because the show was so f***ing great even without his appearance, but damn if he didn't add a ton to it with his small but super memorable appearance. It was my favorite part of the night.

I loved it. The icing on the cake of a great show.
I teared up when he started to cry.

It was nice to see him show up, and also, holy crap he made Wardlow look so small! True story. Rowan looked legit 6-8 inches taller than anybody in that ring last night. I also don't think he needs to sign with AEW. It was a perfect moment. But if you've made the decision to retire from wrestling, it was probably based on pretty solid reasoning. There are guys (and gals) more talented than Rowan who AEW has kind of lost in the shuffle. I'd hate for him to go from this perfect moment on a perfect night and this great (if bittersweet) note to go out on, to being just another guy on the roster or just another guy in Dark Order.
