They really should have had Brissett throw that pass.

As someone who suffered through a season of awful quarterback play, I can confidently say that Philip Rivers is quite bad. The Colts are a quarterback away from being serious contenders in the AFC, but they’re never going to be more than cannon fodder for the likes of Buffalo and Kansas City as long as Rivers is under center.

Frank Reich getting too cute for his own good has left at least four points on the board today - opting to go for it on fourth down toward the end of the first half and that baffling two-point conversion attempt. And ended up losing by 3.

Buffalo over Indy: Indy will have a chance to win with a final drive and Rivers throws a pick to end the game

For those like the crew of the post game show who wonders how that Pascal play was not a fumble, I looked at the play and figured out what it was. Pascal's ankle was still on the ground as he was getting up as he was getting touched, which means he was touched while he was down. That means that the play was dead before the fumble occurred.

Buffalo is absolutely awful at defending TEs no idea why Indy didn't abuse that.

Buffalo is absolutely awful at defending TEs no idea why Indy didn't abuse that. Jack Doyle had 7 catches for 70 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. Mo Alie-Cox had 4 catches for 32 yards on four targets. Trey Burton had 3 catches for 34 yards on three targets. Combined, the Colts’ three tight ends had 14 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown on 16 targets. It’s not like Rivers wasn’t looking their way.

Sounds like if they play the Chiefs and there is a prop bet on Kelce it's looking juicy.

Anyone else sick of Blinding Lights yet? A rare top 40 hit that I enjoyed.. For about a week. They ran that into the ground harder than Old Town.

Sounds like if they play the Chiefs and there is a prop bet on Kelce it's looking juicy. If it gets to be Buffalo versus Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game, I'd expect the Colts tight end's combined figures - 14 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown on 16 targets - to be what Travis Kelce alone gets on the day. Knowing Buffalo's inability to stop tight ends, Andy Reid and Eric Bieniemy are going to make sure Patrick Mahomes feeds Kelce until the Bills defense proves they can stop him, or until they double- or triple-team him and leave someone else open.
