Pretty sure wrestling ain't ready for Petty Shaq. Shaq: Where your rings Cody? Cody: Well, actually in ROH I did have a ring in place of the world title Shaq: Shut your mouth. This a champions table and you not a champion Cody: Now I see what Chuck go through *Sits on the table that's next to Shaq's"* Cody: ...Shaq, why is Underdog here? Shaq: Because he's the same amount of champion as you are!

There's also the fact that as someone who dislikes a ton of modern WWE, some of my favorite spots in the company involve celebrities working with talent. I loved Hugh Jackman punching out Dolph Ziggler. If the spot makes sense, it usually works and gets a huge pop. I just hate big generalizations like this. The Jackman example is a good one because, like McAfee, he REALLY wanted to be there and be involved, like Snoop usually is, so if it makes sense you go with it. While I'm here, I might as well say you can tell after the Shaq interview a few weeks ago how many people actually watch Inside the NBA because there are, like, 3 Shaqs. The one in the interview, the loud Shaq and the Chuck Destroyer 3000. “Chuck Destroyer 3000” DEAD 😂

It's all about the execution. A fun spot against a Dark regular isn't anything like, say, David Arquette winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. AEW also has the benefit of the doubt with these things while WWE lost it a long time ago. Though during the otherwise horrible celebrity guest host era, I did like guys like Stephen Amell and Hugh Jackman who were clearly wrestling fans having fun with it.

Also in terms of execution, Snoop didn't do anything until Cody and Sydal had thoroughly beaten up Serpentico. Like, this wasn't Serpentico being taken out by a non-wrestler, this was a pair of higher tier pro wrestlers having fun at his expense.

The only thing that took me out of the spot was being worried that Snoop would fall off the turnbuckle. He looked a bit wobbly up there.

I mean, that was me every time I got up the turnbuckle when I was training, down to the splash, so I appreciate it as an example.

I can't describe the joy that hearing Tony Schiavone screaming GET EM SNOOP in the exact same tone as GET THE DUCK SCOTTY GET THE DUCK brings me

The thing is, he really does seem into it like he's enjoying the show as much as the audience. It's refreshing to have wrestling commentators who actually seem to be enjoying watching wrestling.

There's no denying it looked like shit with Snoop taking forever and Serpentico begging him not to jump while lay on the mat for an age but it was a small spot against a low-carder so nothing to get wound up about.
These JR threads popping up every week are growing a bit tiresome especially when he hasn't even had a rant this time.

Ariel woke up deciding to act like a troll on Alvarez's Twitter: 'This doesn't bother me, but...' Then shut up and get on with your life. I hate this modern obsession of people having an opinion on something they supposedly don't care about. Either have some integrity and own your opinion or just move on.
