I had one called Ramped Up that was just a collection of a few titantron videos circa 2004 or so. You know you’re in trouble when the best thing is Billy and Chuck’s theme.

The DX set they released in 2007. It chronicles their return in 2006 up to Survivor Series with all their matches and segments. Power Slam magazine gave it 1 star and all the talking heads segments were done in kayfabe. The best thing about it was an extremely bored Carlito telling us that "DX were....you know they were....they were cool."

It’s just a collection of random matches and moments mostly from middle 2001. And it doesn’t even have Trish in a bikini! (Though the box does say that on the back)

When the dvd has the segment talking to fans at the uk show in Manchester I am the one who says: “when you put Triple H and Shawn Michaels together - two of the very best in the history of the business - obviously that’s going to connect with the fans in a big way.” I feel I played my part in achieving that one star rating.

The Bobby Heenan DVD. While I can understand why they couldnt have Heenan talk about his career due to his condition at the time, the whole dvd seemed underwhelming to me.

Probably the one on the greatest managers. Kind of just a weird, boring fluff piece with some really baffling things they chose to focus on and largely underwhelming special features.

(Though the box does say that on the back) I will defend this one as the random matches are actually good. Between it and the extras on the Rebellion 2001 DVD you have all the best moment of the Invasion angle that would be on a hypothetical "Best of the InVasion" DVD set that we'd never ever get.

i wouldn't necessarily call it the worst in terms of quality, but easily the most disappointing i own are volumes 1 & 2 of The Monday Night War. instead of being one 20-part documentary about the Raw/Nitro feud, its twenty 1-part documentaries about random things. and it is extremely boring to binge watch because it's so f***ing repetitive. in the New World Order episode, they talk about Hulk Hogan turning heel to form the nWo. in The Rock episode, they talk about Hulk Hogan turning heel to form the nWo. in the ECW episode, they talk about Hulk Hogan turning heel to form the nWo. in the divas episode, they talk about Hulk Hogan turning heel to form the nWo. by the time they get to the eighth episode, and they stop for the eighth time to air the same clips for the eighth time while telling you for the eighth time that the wrestling landscape changed forever on September 4, 1995 when the debut episode of WCW Nitro aired live opposite WWE's Raw, for at least the fifth time you say "We know already. Shut the hell up about it and move on!" and then there's the Kliq episode. in the nWo episode, they spend a lot of time talking about the Kliq. in the DX episode, they spend a lot of time talking about the Kliq. so in the Kliq episode, what do they spend a lot of time talking about: the nWo and DX.
also, even though he's one of my all time favorites and was by far my absolute favorite when i was watching WCW, did Chris Jericho really need a stand alone episode (especially when Undertaker and Sting had to share one)? i mean Big Show didn't get his own episode and he did everything Jericho did...except he did them first. Big Show debuted in WCW in 95, Jericho debuted in 96. Big Show got fed up with the bullshit in WCW and jumped ship to WWE in February 99, Jericho jumped ship six months later. Big Show made his debut opposite a major star (Steve Austin), Jericho made his debut opposite a major star (The Rock, who as coincidence would have it was in the middle of cutting a promo on Big Show). Big Show held both the WWE and WCW Championships during the actual MNW (only three other wrestlers can claim that), while Jericho didn't win either until after WCW died for the second time (first the promotion, and then the Invasion stable).
second most disappointing dvd would be nWo: The Revolution. instead of doing a longer, more in-depth documentary about the nWo than one they did in 2002, they did one that turned out to be even shorter

the Allied Powers Greatest Tag Teams DVD they put out a while ago
I picked it up at Goodwill for like a buck years ago --- I still haven't finished it
also the Edge Decade of Decadence DVD because basically the entire thing is kayfabe
I really hate when they stay in character on DVDs

Mayhem In Manchester
After the One Night Only six months earlier that was a UK PPV with the European title change, they released another show from Manchester - that was just a house show that filmed on what appeared to be a hand cam from a bizarre angle, with most of the matches edited. Without looking at the tape (long since binned), I think it was filmed from the corner at canvas height.
Edit - did a google search, and there's a video on Youtube from the official WWE account. Two angles, both weird.

Yes, this! Picture the scene. 13 year old me gets pocket money, and tends to save up for the WWF VHS PPVs. Ones from 98 and 97 I didn't know the results of, back in the days when Los Boricuas winning on PPV seemed a major surprise. So I have saved up £20, and am looking at the videos on offer. Mayhem in Manchester showed up. I looked at the card on the back sleeve, which included "Kane v Undertaker, Stone Cold v Triple H, The Rock v Owen Hart" - all great sounding matches, from a show I'd never heard of. The video was £20 but seemed worth it for that card. The video was 30 minutes long, and was a resume of a house show, from a bad camera angle. Those great sounding matches got 90 seconds COMBINED footage, the Rock match got changed to a tag match, and Michael Cole said "there was also a great Hardcore match between Goldust and Cactus Jack" - cue stock footage of both men. Worst. Release. Ever.

WWF's Funniest Moments. We know how Vince does "comedy." I think this one is it for the following reasons: 1) It's only 30 minutes 2) No extras 3) No chapter selection 4) NO MENUS 5) No hosting of any sort 6) No full segments, just the rapid fire heavily-edited punchlines one after another Even beyond the dubious nature of the comedy itself, there's really nothing on here that would make it superior to even the VHS version. It's a waste of a disc.

There was once a triple pack on sale, how could I go wrong? One was the best of the IC title, sounds great! Except it was mostly a collection of obscure old HBK matches.

I remember The Most Incredible Steel Cage Matches being pretty rough, mainly cause of the abundance of old school matches filmed by a stray dog vibing on top of the bleachers.

The Heyman one.
Not because of the content, but because as soon as I tried to watch it, my Xbox 360 disc drive completely died.

I get a kick out of those incredibly random DVDs. It takes me back to when I was a kid, and I'd discover a WWF VHS I'd never seen before at like a KMart. That sense of wowwwwwww!

It was an early release that clearly was just bare ones transferred from an old VHS. It’s fair to say it was underwhelming if you were really expecting the best of the IC title. I remember The Most Incredible Steel Cage Matches being pretty rough, mainly cause of the abundance of old school matches filmed by a stray dog vibing on top of the bleachers. You mean the one that came out in the early 2000s, right? I’m not sure if there was a later release, but that’s the one that I remember. I remember being more annoyed that so many matches were clipped.
