This is really fun to watch. Strong's normally a easy show to get through

I keep forgetting about this show even though I've watched it multiple times. It reminds me of FCW/pre-Full Sail NXT and I love it

I don’t know what thread I posted in earlier or if it was even here or fb but I said “but what if Mox wins?”
We have our semi answer now, and the NJPW/AEW-verse is very real and exciting

I don’t get this decision. At all.
That just means the belt isn’t going to be on New Japan TV for another several months. Why?

I don’t get this decision. At all. That just means the belt isn’t going to be on New Japan TV for another several months. Why? Well, the US Title Belt wasn't really meant for Japan. It was for the American expansion. The title has only been held by Gaijin...and mainly defended against Gaijin (Suzuki and KENTA are the exceptions). If the "forbidden door" is truly open and Moxley can continue to make appearances on Strong, I can see why NJPW would prefer keeping it Stateside until COVID restrictions die down enough. Pretty sure NJPW is not interested in US Title matches between Champion KENTA and (for example) Goto, Yoshi-Hashi or any other Japanese talent. The main issue is...Who's credible enough to be a challenger for Mox on the NJPW U.S. roster? I only feel like it'd be Juice and they've done that rivalry. Maybe Jeff Cobb (who did compete on Bloodsport with Mox) will be back Stateside long enough for a brief program?

There's also the potential of a NJPW US Title match on AEW, that could be between a New Japan STRONG Talent... or AEW's plethora of talent. Omega defended the Mega Campeon against the likes of Evans and Fenix, Deeb faced Kay for the NWA Women's title, you never know On STRONG I would say Moxley facing someone like Lio Rush could be a really, really fun feud. Mox vs smaller quicker guys is great if you remember the Darby match. Other potential feuds could be Chris Dickenson, Rey Horus, or ACH. All of these are bangers if they happen.

Regards why Moxley has the belt:
They currently are negotiating a TV deal with multiple networks. I'm sure having Moxley is a great thing to have then, that is not ignoring Moxley is simply a draw

I am quite curious where this is going. I don't think this is something NJPW would do lightly.
As for candidates to take the belt off of him, that's tricky. I feel like Jeff Cobb would be the guy, but given he seems to be focusing on Japan side of NJPW for the moment, maybe not.

My guess would be Cobb as well if he wasn't in Japan right now and looking to be part of the NJC

My guess would be Cobb as well if he wasn't in Japan right now and looking to be part of the NJC Right. NJPW do seem into him, rightfully so, plus it helps the two have history, like when Jericho used him as a hired gun to go after Moxley, plus weren't they in the same G1 block? I'm shaking some mental cobwebs out, so I could be way off. Heh, cobbwebs.
