Interesting. I wonder what route they will go, first or third person, linear or open world. This is promising though, Bethesda has made some great games over the years. We’ll see.

An open world Indiana Jones game would be incredible. He has to take on the nazis in it, right? In my mind the only thing better would be a Star Wars open world game. I would envision as a cross between RDR and the mandelorian.

This would never happen, but an action oriented big world remake of Fate of Atlantis would be amazing.

Are games based on movies good now?
...Is Bethesda making good games again?
Why make a game of a property this old now?
I feel like I have missed several meetings.

The jist is Disney finally got the confidence to put some kind of branding on its video games instead of pushing the burden on other developers. Sort of the "cake and eat it" of its gaming history instead of trying to form its own game studios. And again, MachineGames, developers of the Wolfenstein games where you shoot lots of Nazis, are doing a game where you shoot loads of Nazis. Win/Win.

I can't wait to shoot and whip more Nazis while exploring ruins.
I wonder if MachineGames has it written in a contract somewhere that all their games must involve killing Nazis.

I wonder how they are going to justify all the grave robbing since it's no longer viewed as harmless fun as it was 40 years ago(rightfully so).

I wonder if they’ll insert a Wolfenstein shoutout somewhere, given Machinegames is working on this.

If it doesn't have this level, I'm not buying.

This could be great like the New Order or not great like everything after the New Order.
Also, based on the license I'm guessing this will be one of Bethesda's multiplatform games?

As a side note by that logic Indiana Jones 5 should mimic 1980's horror movies.

They're really not going to get Harrison's likeness and voicework to do this project, right? I mean, are they really gonna put that dude through all that?

Yeah, using his actual voice would not only be expensive as f***, but really jarring. Hearing Billy Dee Williams' voice coming from young Lando in Rebels and Battlefront II really takes me out of the experience because he sounds so old and tired. Hipefully they use a better soundalike than the guy who's been playing Han in recent Star Wars games.
