Hoping for the best. I never really followed SBTB, but, cancer is terrible.

Hoping for the best. I never really followed SBTB, but, cancer is terrible. Covid: I'm the world's biggest medical villain! Cancer: Remember me? Unfortunately that's what it really is like. The other sicknesses don't take a holiday. Hope Dustin will be all right. I know he's been kind of a dumpster fire, but human beings are human beings.

Cancer is the real trash. I wish it would effin' kill itself. Like I said, God willing, that other big C will see its end soon, with vaccines and all. This one, however, seems to really be eternal :-( (Although the other one feels that way, and that's taken a toll on me)

I hope he's okay.
I know he has acted like an ass over the years, but in general I try to cut child stars who became broken adults a break.

I think the people around Dustin are jumping the gun thinking it's cancer. From what I have read Dustin was hurting all over which could mean a number of things: cancer, stroke, Covid-19 or an allergic reaction. I hope Dustin is okay but people near Dustin need to hold off on diagnosing what the problem is before shooting their mouth off.

I hope Dustin is okay but people near Dustin need to hold off on diagnosing what the problem is before shooting their mouth off. If the "people around Dustin" were just his friends/family/agent then I'd say maybe jumping the gun. The article says it's his medical team that thinks that, so there may be more legitimacy to that. My sister took my nephew to their family doctor because he was having trouble breathing and thought it could be asthma, since she has asthma. The doctor immediately sent them to the hospital and called the hospital to say, "admit them, I think he has cancer," just from basically listening to how he was breathing. And he did have cancer. It's unfortunately so prevalent that I think doctors are able to see the signs pretty easily. Hopefully they're wrong, for Dustin's sake, but unfortunately they could be very right.

Did the medical team say that or was that just one of Dustin's friends or family members saying the medical team said that. That's pretty unprofessional of someone in the medical field go to the public and announce what they think the diagnosis is before they even know themselves. There is also patient privacy rights in play here. When I tested positive for Covid-19 and had to self quarantine I called my building manager to tell him and told him my two neighbors should know he said it was illegal for him to tell them my diagnosis without me signing a form from a medical agency giving him that right. I had to tell him myself. Privacy patient rights can be strict.

Sad that he thought people would make fun of him and that's why he put off getting it check out. I've known several people that put off getting pains checked out only to find out it was cancer (specifically back pain turning out to be stage 4 pancreatic cancer). Get your long term pains checked out, people!

Dude has pushed me to the point of being like "that sucks, but should I feel sorry for you?"
I hope he gets better because we're both humans sharing the same experience, but maybe don't be such a piece of shit if you recover.

I feel like he'd have to do a lot worse for me to say, "dang, that sucks, nobody should have to go through that."
