It was great because Diesel and Crush held the ropes open for Bam Bam, let him clobber Doink and throw him out like a piece of garbage...and then immediately attacked Bam Bam when Doink was gone.

Bubba Dudley being in the 2015 Rumble.
Sgt Slaughters elimination in the 92 Rumble should be played more than it is. Brutal elimination.
RVD showing up in the 2009 Rumble.

There's been 36 official Rumble matches. Of those, numbers 2 or 3 are the first person out in 25 of 36.

Beth Phoenix being a total bad ass after gashing her head open on the post stayed in the Rumble until the final 4.

It's pretty bad luck to draw #1 in the Rumble. You'd think to draw #1 TWICE would be remarkably unlucky. And yet SEVEN men have had the misfortune to have to enter the Rumble at #1 on two occasions. Jericho drew number two three times, and HBK drew one twice and two once, so he too started a rumble 3 times. (Ziggler as well if we count the GRR) Hell, 15 people have started a rumble more than once. Chris Jericho (#2-03.13.17) Shawn Michaels (#1-95,03. #2-08) Bret Hart(#1-88.91.) Ted Dibiase(#1-90. #2-92.) British Bulldog (#1-92. #2-95) Ric Flair- (#1-93,07) Triple H- (#1- 96, 06) Chris Benoit (#1-04, #2-05) Rey Mysterio (#2-06. #1 09) *Dolph Ziggler (#1-2010, 2013, #2 grr) CM Punk (#1 2011, 2014) The Miz (#1 2012, 2015) *Daniel Bryan (#2 2011, #1 GRR) Rusev (#2-2016, #1 2018) Elias (#1-2019, #2-2020)

And check out this pattern of #1s for a few years: 2010 - Ziggler 2011 - Punk 2012 - Miz 2013- Ziggler 2014 - Punk 2015 - Miz

or my favorite commentary line from Vince in 95. He said something along the lines of
"Hey don't laugh, Dick Murdoch could win this thing"

Beth Phoenix being a total bad ass after gashing her head open on the post stayed in the Rumble until the final 4. And she is also notable for being one of three people to have participated in both the men's and women's Royal Rumble matches (The others being Santino and Nia Jax.)

Tazz taking the piss out of some of Raw’s Rumble entrants (notably Simon Dean & Coach) in 2005 always cracks me up.
Coach enters:
Tazz: “This is one of your top guys on Raw JR?! Tell me he deserves to be in the Rumble!” JR: “I can’t”

Considering nostalgic rumble returns have Cole hamming it up, I always loved JR’s “What the hell is Bob Backlund doing here?!” In 2000.
Bob got a pretty good pop from the crowd too IIRC

Heath Slater taking like 10 minutes to enter the match because he keeps getting laid out in the aisleway by the guys after him. that's the only thing I really remember from that Rumble besides Nakamura winning after eliminating Roman

Razor Ramon was in a Royal Rumble, but Scott Hall has never participated in one. It was the fake Razor who appeared in the 1997 match, for all of seventeen seconds.
Bubba Ray is the only Dudley to actually participate in a Rumble. Spike was entered in 2004, but never made it into the ring, due to being attacked by Kane.
Three participants were eliminated without making it into the ring and were not replaced: Spike Dudley in 2004, Scotty 2 Hotty in 2005 and Finlay in 2008.
Three men have drawn numbers, but failed to actually appear for the Rumble: Randy Savage in 1991, Bastion Booger in 1994, and Skull in 1998.
Seven people have drawn numbers, but then been taken out prior to entering the match: Mosh (attacked by Mabel) in 1999, Test (attacked by Mick Foley, who was then ordered into the match by Steve Austin) in 2004, Nunzio (had number stolen by Kurt Angle) in 2005, Curtis Axel (attacked by Erick Rowan) in 2015, Tye Dillinger (attacked by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, Zayn entered the match) in 2018, Lana (couldn't make it to the ring, Becky Lynch took her place) and R-Truth in 2019 (attacked by Nia Jax).

Finlay did make it to the ring and was the only person to ever be disqualified from the Rumble, either for using a weapon or entering before his number was called (depending on which lame explanation you prefer)

In terms of dating, Enzo and Big Cass starting the 2017 rumble dated rather fast.
Also, this rumble has three (at best) sex pests? To have one in your rumble is unfortunate...
