Since I was born in the early 1980’s thought it would be a good idea to name some teams I enjoyed from that decade. Now I grew up watching WWF so I’ll be partial to them but I know there’s more out there.
Demolition- just loved their look and presence. Such a power house team with an unforgettable theme song.
Hart Foundation- the quickness of Bret and power of the Jim the Anvil Neidhart, always a favourite in any decade but especially in the 80’s.
Road warriors- the ones that spawned Demolition and a bunch of others in their mold. Won tag gold wherever they went.

I was born in the mid 70s so by 80 I had been watching wrestling for at least 2 years.
The Faboulous Ones-Such a great tag team. But then Stan Lane is the best tag team guy of my generation.
Midnight Express-Any of the versions.
Demolition-The only WWF tag team I gave a crap about back then.

Hart Foundation. I’m not sure I have a second.
When I started watching at 6, I immediately had two favourites. The Hart Foundation and Hulk Hogan.

Bundy and Studd are actually my fav tag team of a time. Even a short tag title run with them would have been fun.

I'll "throw off" and name some teams not mentioned that I enjoyed.
Rocky Johnson & Tony Atlas. They were the champions when I first started watching the WWF and I dug them. Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams. Tough as nails and a bad-ass team. They were all over the TV when we first got Mid-South. Chris Adams & Gino Hernandez. Ever since I started watching wrestling (WCCW 1983), Chris Adams was my favorite. He did moves that stood out and made you take notice. He was the first good guy that turned bad I still supported. Add Gino, who just oozed charisma and arrogance, and they were cool as heck. JYD & Tito Santana. I liked both guys, this was like a super team.

The Hart Foundation Demolition The British Bulldogs
Although I was only watching the WWF at the time, I knew about the Midnights and the Road Warriors from the Apter mags. I rarely saw them, but liked their style and look.

I really like when I get to see any video with Gino Hernandez. The guy would have been a main event star in the Crocket/WCW or WWF had he lived.

Besides obvious choices such as British Bulldogs, Hart Foundation and Nasty Boys I always loved Brain Busters, they seemed so legit. Odd thing is I never ever cared about Road Warriors or LOD, they always seemed like a cheap Mad Max rip off to me as a kid. I grew respect toward them as I grew older though.
