With Summerslam this year coming up, it will be the 5th year anniversary of the Universal Championship.
With the way the shows are currently booked, do you still want to "World" titles or just let the champion float on both brands.
So whether Drew or Roman, is it best to bounce back and forth on each show? Or does each show, deserve their own top title?

I’ve always been a fan of having one world champion. He can bounce between both shows and the show that doesn’t have the champ can prop up the US or IC titles for the times the world champ is on the opposite show.

Just have one set of world titles across the four divisions (men's and women's singles and tag). It elevates the titles a ton and without touring for the foreseeable future, there's no real need for each brand to have its own champion.

I've always supported the idea of having just one world title. It makes it seem much more of a prestigious accomplishment so when you win it, you're at THE absolute top of the ladder.
That, and I support any measure to abolish the Universal title.

One World Champion, one Women's Champion, one set of Tag Champs, keep the IC and US separate.
That's it (for the main roster).

That, and I support any measure to abolish the Universal title. Yes, I support unification just for that reason. Although trouble is sooner or later Vince will hit reset and put the title on Brock or another part-timer. That's bad enough with one brand missing a champ, both would be even worse. If the tag and women's divisions remain relatively small I'd rather they be unified first.

With the right booking one world title would be awesome, but I like having two different world titles on each show I just wish the Universal title was the World Heavyweight title of old.

Your thread title and poll question are opposites FYI. I almost voted for the wrong option.

The first thing the WWE needs to do is relearn how to book feuds that don't involve the titles...

I don't have a problem with brand specific as long as long as a strict brand split is upheld. No superstar shake-up, no draft, no one crosses over.

I can live with Raw and SD having their own World Titles, but I still want the Tag Team Titles to merge.

I never wanted that. If you're doing a brand split they should be 100% separate, otherwise it's completely pointless. I don't at all buy that having one title somehow makes it mean more and even if I did I care more about variety than I do about legitimacy.

It's not really doable, one world champion. Inevitably, one brand gets preferential treatment.
"But then they could elevate the US/IC title to-"
They won't do that, you know they won't do it, and they never have done it.

Na, keep the titles spread out
They can't book shit if a person doesn't have a title meaning you are going to see a bunch of aimless people doing nothing. In a perfect world they would book things right but that ain't happening

This. if you are going to act like Raw and Smackdown are different companies then you should be completely separate with their own Titles. and have almost no overlap except for special occasions like the Rumble... or in cases like the Women's Tag titles you don't have a division big enough if you split them... (there is an argument to be made they don't have enough women tag teams to make it worthwhile period but that's neither here nor there.)

Separate titles please. I really don't want to see WWE attempt to kept parity between Raw and Smackdown, because it NEVER works.
