'Last Looks' (February 2022): Charlie Waldo (Charlie Hunnam) is a former cop who left the force to live a life of simplicity and solitude in the woods. Alistair Pinch (Mel Gibson) is an eccentric actor who spends his days drunk on the set of his TV show. When Pinch's wife is found dead, he becomes the prime suspect and convinces Waldo to come out of retirement to investigate what happened. The case finds Charlie contending with gangsters and Hollywood executives, all in pursuit of clearing Pinch's name -- or confirming his guilt.

If you don’t the character of I.M Fletcher is based on a series of mystery novels by Gregory McDonald… in the 80s the character was brought to the big screen in the movie “Fletch” played by Chevy Chase.. the movie is considered a cult classic and was followed by sequel called “Fletch Lives” .. they never continued the film series, not sure why, the 2nd one could of underperformed, or it could of been Chevy being Chevy.
There have been attempts to reboot the character in the past going back to the iOS with rumours of Ben Affleck and Ryan Reynolds playing the character. And now Jon Hamm is to play the whole.. looks ok.
