Even as a Brady fan, Iโm not looking forward to how insufferable Skip Bayless is going to be after this. You mean he wasn't already insufferable?

To be fair he couldn't cheat as much. Cry There is no need for that. It was just a joke (and one I thought was fairly clever, at that).

Full credit to Todd Bowles tonight. He put together an absolutely terrific gameplan and it worked to perfection.
Whatโs wild is that the Bucs barely had to blitz at all because Barrett and JPP did such an incredible job of running over that o-line. It ended up being a terrible mismatch.

There were a number of bad calls, but yeah, the Chiefs just looked lost out there tonight. Dropping passes that should've been caught, the defense letting guys get in the open, Patrick Mahomes playing like he was in Electric Football with a bum foot, and an o-line that was down two of its starters.
And the Bucs took advantage of all of it.
A friend of mine from college that's been a diehard Chiefs fan for years said it best: This was Rocky III. At least part 1. The Chiefs went in, thinking they would go back to back, and the Bucs just Clubber Lang'd them.
It was a wake up call that they needed. I'm thinking they'll be back in the future, as they'll have a lot of the team back. But yeah, they didn't have the Eye of the Tiger tonight.

Super Bowl 32 Packers had the same thing happen to them too.

There were some really bad calls against the Chiefs, but I don't think they would've altered the ultimate result. Chiefs just played like dogshit tonight.

Donโt even see it as silly to foresee a repeat. I think Chiefs, Bills, Pack, and Rams will be there, maybe someone else breaks through but itโs now 100% and more that this guy can not be tested. Maybe their defense falls off but man, Brady is beyond it all now.

If anyone watched that and thought it was Mahomes, I don't get that.
Dude made 2 of the most insane throws ever and they got dropped. He did everything he possibly could.

I've seen Chiefs fans blame the refs, and it's like "Guys, ask Cleveland about the calls in the playoff game against the Chiefs." Kansas City in the leadup were benefits of some shit calls and no calls.

Yeah if I'm starting a NFL team from scratch, Patrick Mahomes is still my top pick even after this game.

Yeah, the only one who was even slightly there was Travis Kelce. This is in fact the first time ever in the NFL that a Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs lost by double digits. And honestly, it was just his time. Every QB has these games where EVERYTHING goes completely wrong and as the leader of the team, you really cant do a damn thing right about it. Now it sucks for him that it happened in the Super Bowl, but it happens. Now the true test will be next season when he has to get his ass back up from that one-sided loss.

Even as a Brady fan, Iโm not looking forward to how insufferable Skip Bayless is going to be after this. Mahomes could win the next 15 Super Bowls and break every QB record in the book and Skip will still go "Did not beat Brady in Super Bowl 55, therefor Brady is better".
