There's a whole attitude era playlist with key PPVs fwiw. Disappointed that they didn't transfer every Raw for now.

Peacock isn't family friendly or anything, though. It has plenty of R-rated movies and uncensored versions of TV shows where the bleeps on the profanity have been removed. Well, it’s less that and more what they want represented on their service since, well, they are paying for the access. It’s much easier to put up stuff made by NBC Universal and suit it then something not in your company profile. Either way, it seems like it’ll be a long time before the whole thing becomes completely worth it. Usually, it's the content owners who make the decision to hold back "objectionable" material and will just refuse to license it. Viacom licensed "South Park" to WarnerMedia for HBO Max but decided to not included a handful of episodes, a deal that WarnerMedia accepted. Paramount Plus has also not put up certain episodes of shows (shows that they own) because blackface was used.

I mean, those seem like different situations for some part of it simply because those companies can't be bothered to just put a warning before things and "bring attention to it" or whatever that may be.

Also, the bigger issue long term seems to be what stuff they'll be able to host with the capacity of the servers.
Like, it doesn't seem right now Peacock is designed for something like the WWE Network in mind and it'd be easier for now being like "get the friendlier content on there first with the Cena era" rather than put the work in to figure out what they want or don't.

That's too bad for Peacock because they've already publicly stated that they are moving the entirety of the Network over. If this doesn't improve, I know that I'm going to go from subscribing to WWE Network every month for $10 to subscribing to Peacock for $5 only when it's time for WrestleMania and Royal Rumble. I can find the older content somewhere else if they back off on their promise to put it up, and others will do the same. I'm wondering why Peacock, which is available to tens of millions already, thought that this was worth it. They already have, at worst, 10-15 times more subscribers than WWE Network.

To answer your last question; content. They have a long term partner in WWE who've done many specialised programs for them over the years, USA, NBC or SyFy, so have that foundation there to make a deal easier then, say, do a HBO Max with Viacom for South Park. There's a constant bidding war for content right now, original or otherwise, so you have to utilise what you have. The issue long term won't be "Will all the content be there?", it'll be "How long are you willing to wait?". Like, they'll have to improve capacity for it, that's a given, but considering there's no timeframe or announcement on how that's going to work, are we talking content flowing in on a weekly or monthly basis? Is there a need to approve stuff before going on Peacock? Like, the basic question is, are subscribers willing to wait months for all the content they've been used to on the WWE Network to be on Peacock?

They promised that by SummerSlam, everything will be available. After deciding to publicly announce that, they're now going to have to deliver. Not to mention, if you look on social media or YouTube comments, plenty of people seem to have no idea that they have to sign for Peacock themselves and won't be transitioned over by WWE/NBC, plus don't know that tons of content will be missing for the time being. Some people are just going to give up.

This thing feels mismanaged from the off and even if it goes smoothly, it'll be hard to get those people back if you give off a bad first impression.

So far the only plus is the section for The Rock includes other stuff on Peacock he's in.

I can see how this would upset a lot of people, I mainly use the network for NXT UK and the monthly ppvs. I might watch some old rumbles in January. This is great for me, I get The Office included and Peacock has a much better selection than something like Paramount Plus (woof!)

Watching WrestleMania 14 they added these fade outs to black between matches, guessing these are for commercials (I have the ad free tier of peacock)

I did some initial browsing. At least a few of the Wrestlemanias are missing (6, 28 and 31). Also, the layout is awful, and not divided by show, making it far more difficult to search.

Jerry Lawler: I must have signed 7,000 or 8,000 autographs. Look at me there, J..... (black screen for 2 seconds) .....R. It was great!

I think that’s why they did the $10 for 4 months deal. 4 months from April gets you to August where they promised they would have all content moved over. There’s actually more at launch than I expected, so that’s good.

The issue now is whether they can keep their word on that or not and whether any Peacock restructuring will be that short of a timeframe or not.

Having each PPV being called a season will take some getting use to.

Also, with the ppv's, it's annoying having to search years by show rather than being able to search shows by year, if that makes sense.

They better separate videos by promotion and by year once they sort all this out.
