I saw a "report" on a little known YouTube channel that AEW and Impact were ending their relationship. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I honestly thought the goal was to absorb impact and it's tv assets into aew, so impact loses out the most here. Back to the basement I guess *shrugs*

I saw a "report" on a little known YouTube channel that AEW and Impact were ending their relationship. Can anyone confirm or deny this? with Christopher Daniels popping up and saying "I'm not going anywhere until I get what has alluded me for years" in regards to the Impact World title, I'd say probably not ending. Christian's deal? Sure. I'm 99% sure Josh Alexander is winning the title tonight. Good Brothers' deals probably won't be up until next summer, I'd imagine so they'll still be on both shows. Suzuki is working the next tapings, and I'm almost positive he'll pop up in AEW one more time before heading back to Japan. I think, if anything, the relationship will be a little more subdued. Maybe Britt gets challenged by an Impact talent heading into the TBS show or something like that. We're not gonna go back to Kenny Omega as Impact champion on both shows weekly, but we're not in the 'ending' deal territory. Especially since there probably isn't even a deal on paper. Probably just Scott and Tony calling each other up, pitching ideas, and then sending their guys.

I'm asking people if they have more credible information. It wasn't my fault (the Snitsky approach) that I got a half dozen replies of peoples personal speculation based in no fact whatsoever.

SRS said Impact will distance themselves from AEW after BFG, but there is no heat between them.

SRS said Impact will distance themselves from AEW after BFG, but there is no heat between them. They should only do stuff that in the end will be great for the both of them and not "Just because" Im sure they're happy with the Christian reign and Danielson's return though

Going by Bound for Glory tonight (spoilaz if you haven't seen it) {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Definitely feels like the Impact distancing from AEW for the time being is true. Josh beat Christian (then lost to Moose, starting an Impact guys only feud), the inter-company feuds feel like they've wrapped up for right now.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} The Good Brothers are still Impact Tag Team Champions, so there is still a crossover with AEW.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} The Good Brothers are still Impact Tag Team Champions, so there is still a crossover with AEW. Maybe, but not necessarily. We saw the Elite on Dynamite tonight and they didn't mention the Good Brothers not being there or wish them luck later in the night at BFG. So we really don't know yet if they're still gonna be part of The Elite.

Ringside News reported the Impact/AEW relationship is wrapping up after BFG. I forget their reputation as a news site.

Ringside News reported the Impact/AEW relationship is wrapping up after BFG. I forget their reputation as a news site. It's pretty bad but in saying that, Sean Ross Sapp has said he's heard the same thing. He's just not been able to verify it yet.

There's been nothing said about NJPW not working with AEW anymore. In fact, I think NJPW wants the Good Brothers back in the Bullet Club and might try to sign them. That would be a good kick start to (re) igniting the feud.

Mickie James won the Impact Women's Championship at Bound For Glory, while still working for the NWA.
The woman Mickie defeated at BFG, Deonna Purrazzo, is still the AAA Women's Champion.
I love these crossovers!
