I have a feeling WWE called her and basically had to politely grovel to get her involved. And also, the Impact thing was likely part of negotiations to make it happen.
I absolutely don’t expect it to be beyond the Rumble but considering WWE fired most of the women who could be in it? Good on her for taking advantage.

I know according to Mickie, WWE apologized and fired the guy over the trash bag incident. But to go back to them, even for a one shot, after not even a year after being unceremoniously fired by them? I guess money does talk because I don’t think I would be quite so forgiving of them.
My guess is that it’s a one off and a Hall of fame induction. Which she does deserve. But I don’t know, it’s cool I guess but still feels off to me.

For one, her credibility is in the toilet now. Any future gripes or musings about how women are used in any promotion will mean next to nil. Wanna treat female employees like garbage (No literally) just throw money at them and give them a hollow gestured ring.

I haven’t seen anything but respect to her from others in the industry. It’s not like she said “I’ll never work for them again” and is now going against her word. She made a public complaint about something that offended her, the company publicly apologized multiple times and fired the responsible party. So now she should also never work for them again too, even as a one-shot deal that will give her and her current company exposure? Seems like holding a grudge for no benefit.

Don't get it twisted, This does benefit her. In the end, she can count those stacks, and Impact/TNA will get all of a brief mention of one of their belts in passing in a Woman's Royal Rumble where they spoiled nearly the entire field of participants. Mickie can do as she pleases, but any future hot takes she might have won't resonate with me.

Doesn’t seem like someone that is being hypocritical by working for them or anything. twitter.com/MickieJames/status/1385756079326437377?s=20

My point is that in my view, the way she was treated on her way out last time, and this isn’t the first time she was let go either, I don’t know why she would keep coming back. It also says to WWE that we can treat people like shit for years, and they’ll always come back. Hell, Bret Hart came back after what they did to him. Because if it were me, I would never want to go back again, at least not less than a year. In any other line of work, if you were treated like Mickie was, you would never want to go back to that job again. But then again, shes probably getting a crap ton of money to get eliminated in three minutes. So if the money is worth it to her, then good for her.

Guess that counts for a bit of “Forbidden Wall”ing.

Guess that counts for a bit of “Forbidden Wall”ing. Santana is challenging Jonathan Gresham for the ROH world title a few weeks later at Terminus' second show. Dude's set up for an awesome February.

DDT is teasing a mysterious superstar from a foreign promotion appearing at their 25th anniversary Sumo Hall show on March 20th, to be announced on January 30th.
As you can see, they aren't particularly subtle about it:
As it's DDT and they love to mess around with stuff like this, you could probably bet on it just being Nakazawa. March 20th is a ways away and it's a big show, though, so it wouldn't be a stretch if they were to bring someone bigger over.

Of course, it ended up being Nakazawa pretending it was Kenny for a brief second lol

Sammy vlog reminding me if the harsh truth of life. Maybe Sammy did do wrong, who knows, but he and Tay are absolutely enamored with each other. Definitely honeymoon phase lmao
