I don’t understand how Booker can carry so much water for a company who shortchanged him at every corner. Think about how WCW booked him as a main eventer, and it starts to click into place.

I have read a lot that Shida has absolutely no interest with working on Stardom nowdays In an interview from like 2019ish I think she expressed that she has no interest in working for them and didn’t seem all that good with them lol. I think she understandably has loyalty to Ice Ribbon and they and Stardom are obviously on bad terms, but like I said, there’s a difference between her joining them and showing up as an AEW wrestler at a show that I don’t think is impossible. That makes sense. Wasn't Shida basically Ice Ribbon's star and trainer after Emi Sakura left? I can see where it'd be a lot more personal to her than some of the others. I do agree, though, that this particular arrangement might be the best chance of any kind of collaboration for her.

At that time it was Tsukka and Shida taking over, yeah, and them luckily having Tsukushi coming up. The story of Ice has pretty much been losing big players and finding a way to replace them and plug and play. Since her return to Japan this week Shida has worked TJPW, Ice, Wave in a ridiculous 105 minute comedy match, OZ academy coming up and obviously Makai to wrap it up. It’s cool to see her billed as an AEW superstar in each one.

Because they pay him. And because it's good business to criticize AEW, outside of working for WWE.

For anyone not following the news, Kota Ibushi is going scorched earth on New Japan Pro Wrestling, and Puro in general. Even going as far as to imply Yakuza connections. This basically makes him persona non grata in Japanese pro wrestling.
What will be interesting to see is where he tries to go next. AEW would be the obvious choice with Kenny Omega as EVP. Of course, doing so runs the risk of nuking the current working relationships with New Japan and DDT(who were on bad terms with Ibushi even before all this.)

AEW needs to have a strong relationship with New Japan. Ibushi isn't worth it.

I doubt AEW touches him if they want to maintain a strong NJPW working relationship.

It wasn't really gonna be worth it even before the Yakuza stuff was brought up... but now like, good luck finding any work unless you do some severe backtracking

In...lighter news lol, TJPW says that Yuka will be in AEW for the rest of the month and return to Japan in time for their June 4th show. (with Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh missing their May 29th show for Prestige), and that there is a possibility of more roster members missing shows from June due to overseas bookings.

Hope she gets on TV again, and the Buy-In. Find more spots for her, she's so terrific to watch imo Hell have Hayter get a big win over her even. I also wanna see her react to Abadon.

The most recent video New Japan put up to showcase Wheeler Yuta for the Best of Super Juniors had some interesting comments.
Most of the footage they showed was from Yuta’s time in New Japan STRONG but, a lot of Japanese fans who were commenting were asking why they didn’t show any footage from the Moxley match. It seems that a lot of domestic New Japan fans are very familiar with that match and it’s created a lot of buzz.

Former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Robbie Eagles beat Wheeler Yuta on the first night of BOSJ’s B Block.
“The Sniper of the Skies” is now demanding a Pure title match, as a result.

Jamie Hayter is returning to Eve for the She-1 in June. Luckily for me I happen to be in London that weekend and there's an afternoon show so I can actually go, first time seeing any wrestling live in many years.
Asuka/Venny is also booked for the tournament, if they face each other it should be a great match.

The upcoming King of DDT tournament has no aew representation which is disappointing, been mostly one-sided so far. (Travel should be ok now as other companies are bringing in international wrestlers).

O-Khan is the kind of character wrestling has needed both in and out of the ring.
He’s up there with guys like Mutoh and Tajiri in just how weird he is.

Can we post what O-Khan has been doing in Vegas or no? If it's the photo I think it is, No, I mean you could censor it but it's like 80% of the photo.
