Only real question is where this leaves AEW's relationship with TJPW and the politics involved with potential partnerships with both. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and we won't get a "CMLL is being petty as f***" situation with either. Takagi recently said he doesn't foresee TJPW and Stardom ever working together or getting on the same page. In the past for things shows like Assemble (a show alliance of joshi promotions working together, some even on rough terms), TJPW isn't a part of it and they also didn't participate in the recent Korakuen anniversary show. That said I don't think they'd exercise any politics or talent-pulling hijinks--they could just not have their talent wrestle Stardom's, not be on the same show as any, or maybe just treat the situation differently since it'd be an AEW-run show and not care. DDT/TJPW can be pretty lax with a lot of stuff like that. While I don't exactly see super involved/long Stardom stuff with AEW because of how they use their roster and schedule, the "talks" almost certainly are about Stardom wanting to use Toni. Rossy loves her and she is one of the rumored names for KAIRI's mystery tag partner (I think it's someone like Nanae though). Obviously it'd be about what can be done for AEW too in that regard. Stardom does interestingly have two new "brands"--New Blood, a free YouTube show that is centered around featuring young talent from Stardom and other promotions, and Show Case--which while nobody knows exactly what it is, is very much likely a show based around gimmick matches. I think the former would be a decent fit. That and obviously the SWA title, which has to be defended against other nationalities/heritages (a recent loophole allowed for aliens).

Exciting times, and if IO indeed signs up with Stardom, itll hopefully mean shell make AEW appearences. AEW easily has the potential for the best womens wrestling going if they can use them right.

Io's either signing with AEW and working Stardom or the other way around for sure.

And the thing is it is REALLY f***ing easy to get the best out of Io...let her go out there 15 min at best on a weekly basis (if she works AEW more than a few times a year or even signs full time) and just let her go full bore. It is all Tony has to do and watch as AEW's womens divisiong goes from a division that is improving to IMO the best in NA almost instantly.

Considering the original idea for the women's division was to be like the cruiserweight division of the mid 90s a Stardom partnership will be very good

If this means Mizuki can show up for a Dark taping that would be awesome. Maybe put her in a match with Riho for the sake of confusion.

Shida seems to be pretty active in taking Japan dates, outside of Makai her schedule is pretty varied. Ice Ribbon against Ibuki Hoshi this week, then presumably challenging Suzu Suzuki for the Regina di WAVE title in WAVE, and one doozy of a match--her, Arisa Nakajima, and NATSUMI vs. Jaguar Yokota, Aja Kong, and Kyoko Inoue. That last show has KAIRI in the opening "talk battle" segment, pretty studded lol (it's a charity show for Shinjiro Otani, so that makes sense).

So STARDOM/NJPW are teaming up for an IWGP Women's Championship that's going to be defended on NJPW shows

Oooh Shida and Suzu Suzuki sounds interesting, she's stood out whenever I've seen her in prominence or DDT. Shida seems comfortable in hardcore matches too.

Yeah, Suzu is pretty much a prodigy at age 19. In WAVE it would likely be a straight up match but you never know since Shida gets into that stuff when she can. I imagine AEW might have a say in that though.

Dunno about the likelihood but with Asuka/Veny being in the states right now then again in September it’d be cool to see AEW book her.

They showed RoH footage too! I know same owner but still, actually showing the stuff that happens in other companies is such a massive improvement.
Just trying to think who would be best to face Asuka/Veny. Think it would have to be Deeb or Hayter.
