I honestly don't follow the Lucha scene enough to know what's going on. My impression though has been that neither AAA or CMLL are in very good shape

Yeah, I'd like to know too because I never hear that they're in the best of shape and everything AAA is doing is either to start a relationship with WWE (Vikingo not being streamed feels like that adds to various other stuff going on) or are incompetent which has a 50/50 shot of going either way.
Also, a AEW/NJPW/CMLL relationship has more flexibility and such then trying to strike the balance between keeping New Japan and CMLL happy and keeping AAA happy.

I do feel like a CMLL relationship feels more likely than them continuing their relationship with AAA
Though I would assume that means guys like Dralistico would either be done with AAA or they'd still be ok to work both, not sure how the semantics would be

I love the idea of a perfect synergy flowing through AEW, New Japan, CMLL, and RevPro UK!

Not really all that important AEW wise, but Shida and Ibuki Hoshi successfully defended their International Ribbon Tag Team championships yesterday. After the match Shida berated Ibuki, telling her that Ibuki hasn't lived up to being her equal as an international superstar and big-timing her, saying she is on TV with Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho etc, and Ibuki attacked her after the match. Makoto and Hamuko Hoshi took the dissension as a chance to challenge for the titles in March. Shida has given Ibuki the ultimatum that she must win every singles match she has until March otherwise she'll give up her tag team title.

Luchablog saying that AAA is the side that decided to end relationship with AEW feeling they weren't holding up their part of the deal

Luchablog saying that AAA is the side that decided to end relationship with AEW feeling they weren't holding up their part of the deal Hard to really figure out what "AEW's part of the deal" was when AAA is always so "Eh, whatever" with everything Doesn't feel like a huge loss here if they start partnering with CMLL instead

I don't really think aside from the Lucha Bros AAA really used much AEW talent anyways to be a big deal.. I actually think when they use international talent they tend to use Impact and MLW talent more anyways

That does make me think there's at least a chance Kip wins the All Atlantic Title since it seems to be a title that can travel.

Takeshita using his AEW theme over "Curtain Rises" in DDT gave me a really bad case of boo boo face. Not going to lie.
What a downgrade of a theme.

The ultimate hidden gem of a match is these two vs. Omega/Riho on the Jericho Cruise, so DDT is a great place for them. I know why AEW has basically avoided it, but I don’t mind intergender tag matches, and sometimes they can be really fun.

Might still face Saki Akai and a male tag partner though, possibly Chris Brookes for ease of communication.

WRESTLE KINGDOM SPOILER {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Kenny Omega has defeated Will Ospreay, and will be the third member of the AEW Roster to hold the IWGP US Championship on their brand, and likely will be the third to defend it on an AEW Program. Mox and Lance Archer are the others.
He goes for "Kenny 2 Belts" once again next week when The Elite face Death Triangle for the Trios belts!

On one hand, wasn't expecting Kip and Penelope to be some of the first AEW wrestlers to go to DDT, but they deserve a nice run. And as others have said, wonder if it may be Kip winning the All Atlantic title.
