The match was structured in a way that makes you wonder if he's getting the PPV title shot. I always thought it would be Moxley but it would make sense to hold off on that so it doesn't interfere with his KENTA feud. My guess Archer fights Kenny at Revolution, and the Mox rematch happens at Double or Nothing. If Kenny retains there, I think we get the Hangman Match at All Out.

It was gonna be between Archer, Mox and Pac, though it would be a good time to do a fatal 4 way match for the World Title at Revolution.

A loose alliance between him and Mox would be cool as they fight Bullet Club.

I guess all those fans in the Impact Zone did see something special in a kid called Hoyt. Ayyyy *raises hand* I loved Hoyt back in the day. Doing that Luchasaurus shit before Luchasaurus. Won me over when he did a Van Terminator or some..modified version? As I've said since he debuted in AEW, even when he was floundering, Archer has what it takes to be AEW world champion. Maybe not a *long run* - the ME scene is packed and he's pretty old - but there's absolutely no reason Archer can't fill that late 90s face Kane role in the company. At the very least I want to see him murdering dudes as the TNT champ. Completely agreed. He’s turning 44 very, very soon. He’s still got it but should remain as this chaotic unruly tweener that can float around the Main event scene in a moments notice.

I've been on the Archer train since day one, glad others are hopping on board too.

I think Archer getting the title shot would make sense, though I also think PAC might get it because of how much they're pointing out that he and Jericho are the only two people who have beaten Kenny in singles matches in AEW so far. (Since the lights out match with Moxley isn't an official match.)

I once had Luchasaurus pegged for that Undertaker role where he's "The monster that slays the worse monsters".
Instead, I think that role suits Archer much better.

Personally, I had Wardlow in that position after splitting from MJF, but that can probably come later. Right now, time to strike the iron with Archer while it's hot.

officialfan.proboards.com/thread/601834/next-lance-archer*Ahem* Finally glad they giving my boy some burn a year after I made that. He was stuck doing a whole bunch of nothing when he is pretty serviceable as a kickass terminator who takes no shit Wouldn't mind him with the TNT title at some point. Darby having to be slaughtered fits the mold of him going out on his shield and Archer being a total f***ing monster

I'd love to see Archer big boot Jericho's head off, perhaps in a match too

Looks great, has the build, Jake the Snake as a mouthpiece, & who doesn't love a big guy wrecking everyone? Archer is the business right now.

Lance Archer is a VIP. Absolutely fantastic showing every time he is on Dynamite. Just imagining where he started way back during TNA days and where he is now. What growth.

Before he tossed Fenix last night, he should've said "EVERYBODY FLIES!!"

Honestly.... I love the pairing of him and Moxley. They aren't necessarily friends, but they respect each other and have a common goal.

Never saw much of him in New Japan, so I was interested when he popped up in AEW. I was initially pretty impressed, then kind of lost interest for a bit. Now I am all about him. Might not be the best time for him to take a belt off someone (Omega has to lead to Hangman and Darby just got his), but I'd like for him to win whatever the next tournament/1 contender contest they have.
How does everyone feel about Jake as his mouthpiece? He's just kinda...been there

I actually enjoyed Archer in his TNA days as Lance Hoyt. He was a pretty good big man, and I did enjoy the Rock & Rave Infection tag team.
I wasn't big on him when he first debuted, then we got all the vignettes of him just straight up murdering people. And I was like, "Alright, I like him again."
