My best friend is looking to start a YouTube centered around bad sitcoms (or S***coms as per the channel name) and it got me thinking. What are the shows that come to mind when you think of laugh-along programming.
He's already got some of the more obvious ones planned (My Mother The Car, Homeboys From Outer Space), any others come to mind?

Check out the lineup on Fox through the late 90s and 2000s for bad shows. Most were likely to get three episodes before being cancelled

The Mullets, I remember them plugging it on Smackdown back in 2003, I caught one episode and I changed the channel after a few minutes.

Here's my pick -
Honorable mentions goes to Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher, which is probably the worst sitcom I've ever seen to get a second season -

Most sitcoms that have aired on BBC One over the last decade.
A particular low-light being Ben Elton's The Wright Way. How the f*** did the man who made Blackadder come up with that shite?

Cavemen was like... toilet bowl at taco bell bad.
Speaking of cavemen, I vaguely remember something like The Rob Schneider Show (it wasn't called that, but I wanna say it was named after him). It was so bad I bet the CIA uses it as torture. I think Cheech might have been in it?

Big Top, a really bad British sitcom starring Amanda Holden about a touring circus

The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer probably belongs here.

Friends and The Big Bang Theory. And I'm only half joking.
Seriously though, a lot of pilots for US adaptations of British sitcoms are worth including. There is a phenomenally bad one for an American version of Peep Show that I'm fairly sure is available online. And there are a few successful yet utterly wretched Britcoms from the past couple of decades that make me want to throw furniture, like My Family and Miranda.

Also, the show had a solid cast and a few glimmers of potential, but Powerless, about ordinary office workers living in the DC Comics Universe was not great.

The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer probably belongs here. Yes, Clerks the Animated Series fans, that honestly was a real show. Not Chi McBride's finest moment.

I heard bad things about the US Ab Fab (and this was IIRC not [redacted]s version from the 90s.) NBC "Yes this is totally the next Friends" Coupling, nuff said. BBT and Friends are both overrated. But I am sure the other things we name are on a whole new level.

Mr. Smith. A chimp gets super intelligent and can talk! One of the things of watching through the first months of the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour reruns on Buzzr was having to hear the hosts and panel put that show over constantly. There were questions about it. It was the top pick in the Audience portion of the Super Match. The star(s) of the show were on the panel.

Cavemen was like... toilet bowl at taco bell bad. Cavemen was such a weird, weird show. Single-camera, vaguely ad-libbed, super-understated tone... starring dudes with caveman makeup. Another answer: Shasta McNasty is the worst thing I've ever seen, because not only is it bad, it represents that embarrassing Jim & Derrick era of Men's Entertainment.
