Andre vs. Hogan and the Megapowers were the first two I thought of.

Threads like this remind me of the Hunter/Kurt/Stephanie love triangle and I get so frustrated because it was so good and on the verge of being one of their best ever storylines and they had to go and screw it up.

They had to be dragged to it kicking and screaming... but Daniel Bryan's road to WrestleMania 30.

Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels from Wrestlemania 25 to 26 was awesome.

It's Loosely connected but the Flair retirement bleeds into HBK/Y2J which then bleeds into HBK/JBL then turns into HBK/Taker and ends with Taker/Triple H End of an Era at WrestleMania XXVIII. Another one is Bret/HBK saga starting at WrestleMania XII Iron Man match ending with Montreal. You see 18 months of HBK/bret going from respected competitors to both hating each other

Deadly Games tournament.
Just to get a new contender in there, botched finish to Austin/Mankind notwithstanding, it was excellent story telling and Russo’s best work.

Speaking as someone that isnt even a big fan of the era or Hogan, The Mega Powers is very likely the best one.
I wouldnt say Andre vs Hogan is necessarily the best STORYLINE,it was much more of a starpower and higher then life thing. But I find the story just okay.

I watched the Andre/Hogan build up not too long ago, and there’s a lot of early aspects that make it even better: Jesse Ventura gets suspicious when Andre is reinstated but didn’t go to the hearing. He gets even more suspicious when Heenan refuses to tell him what happened in the hearing, and vows to get to the bottom of it. And the first Piper’s Pit where Andre shakes Hogan’s hand a little too hard and says “four years is a long time to be champion” is great. Andre was excellent the whole feud.

Mega Powers first, Hulk/Andre second. I pick both of these because of the slow build for both angles.

One that hasn't been mentioned that I loved was the build to Savage vs. Flair at WMVIII. Or the arc that led to Savage and Elizabeth getting back together.

For me it was Hogan vs. Andre and the Rise/Fall of the Megapowers.

It led to a very unsatisfying payoff, but I can’t blame Hunter and Steph for nixing the obvious conclusion to the story. Nothing good ever comes from booking your shoot significant other in a worked break up/leave you for another person angle

I think as a whole it's hard to compete with the story of the Kliq and their cohorts as a whole. So many twists and turns starting from their arrival in WWE to even now.

The Austin/McMahon saga purely from Mania 14 to 15 had a few weird moments but it was awesome for the most part and definitely should be up there.
