His match with Aaron Solow was amazing. His promo he cut on Dark a few weeks back was a classic heel promo. He sold so well to Pac that he's a meme.
I don't quite understand why so many people don't want him to be on Dynamite, or even in AEW. Is it because his brother works for WWE? Because I'll tell you, if you just forget about that, he is a fun mid-card heel who can turn any match into a match worth watching. I want to see his ass get kicked. He's Buddy Landel level amusing. He was also a huge cheerleader during Dark for some of the matches, and has been working hard to be a part of the company.
I also get the absolute weird obsession people have with who and what appears on Dynamite, but this guy has "it" and I want to see him sign with AEW. I think people need to just judge him for him, and not who he's related to.

I think Ryan got a bit of a bad rep for comments he has made on twitter about indy wrestling Fandom and some wrestlers that were popular on the indies... now admittedly s lot if what he said about some of these wrestlers (mainly Joey Ryan) ended up being true. UT I think how he handled things rubbed many the wrong way.
I think he is inoffensive. Not the greatest wrestler in the world but he is a good enough seller to make people look good.
Not anywhere near a main eventer or even midcarder but low card heel he is fine enough

AEW has a knack for taking something and eventually finding a spot for it
If Nemeth's spot is with Peter and Bononi, it's perfect for him. He fits super well into their group
Dude has a classic swagger about him, I love that he does the Million Dollar Man fist drop, and his match trash talk. Considering he wasn't doing much before coming to AEW, he's probably a low risk signing that isn't gonna cost them anything extravageant.
His story about how he was there for the Brodie tribute show just to support Brodie Jr. and Nolan, who he babysat often, and possibly getting a full time job out of it, is just something I can't hate about AEW. They give people a chance, and they have a tendency to prove people wrong given time.

Same with Johnson, Solow, and Comoroto if Comoroto doesn't team with Dustin and QT, funny how he's like the glue for both possibilities.

Oh absolutely my point was more that him being around is inoffensive. He is there to make others look good... and likely will have some kind of coaching role too. I was more pointing out the hate he gets and why

He wasn't apparently looking for a job with AEW or anything but had shown up for I think Brodie Jr's birthday party to say hi to the family and brought a gift or something, I forget the specifics. Still, he was asked if he wanted to wrestle, since he's kept in shape, and the rest just fell into place. Right place at the right time, plus people knowing he could work.

Anyone who uses my favourite classic finisher (The Rude Awakening) is fine by me. He's better on the mic than his brother. As a mid-card douchey heel he's perfect.

Wasn't Ryan another victim of the DeMott era of developmental? Someone whose name came up in investigations about Demott's actions, where ther complaints were just handed straight to Demott and the affected talent were quietly released as they 'weren't progressing' like Luchasaurus and others.

I think he might have been "Patient 0" that made the whole thing go off.(edit: ok he wasnt patient 0 that gave the letter but he helped with it) Since then dude has been very vocal about bullshit he sees in wrestling so mad respect for him, he seems like a dude with strong morals.

Ziggler's still one of the better workers in wrestling one could argue, his issue is for the past like seven years he's been stuck in a hamster wheel of booking and a flat gimmick. Nemeth doesn't even work the same style as Dolph. Nemeth's more mat based, more classic heel tropes, he's done a nice job so far and they've trusted him with big matches, and another one in Mox is coming.

Ryan Nemeth also doesnt bounce like a ping pong ball when hit by a punch But yeh Dolph will always be one of the most unjustly shitted on talent, dude is legit one of the best complete package in WWE.I will die on the hill he is better than any of their current main eventers.(well maybe short of Daniel Bryan but I'm not even sure he is a main eventer anymore)

He seems like the Owen to Dolph's Bret. Not as popular but a better talker and arguably more athletic.

I sometimes listen to the Jim Cornette podcast at work and even he likes him. He would have booked him as a top heel in Smokey Mountain. He is in the Buddy Landell, Dirty White Boy school of heeling. If Brian Lee had 10% of the personality Nemeth had, he would been WWF's first signee from SMW in seconds.

Plus a less talented Dolph would still be amazing. Yeah, Ziggler is pretty damn good, he's just been booked into oblivion by WWE for like a dozen years. I guarantee if he went elsewhere and wasn't booked like a joke he would become a fan favorite again.

His match with Solow last night turned me around on him. He seems to be increasing in confidence and finding his own way in the ring.
