I am totally put off by Chucky's voice for some reason...I mean I kind of hear it but man Nancy's Chuckie was fine for All Grown Up since it was allowed to sound older, but her take for younger Chuckie is rougher.

Looks like the reboot is taking more liberties in season two...Kimi is now aged up

Angelica has some seriously dead eyes going on in that thumbnail. She looks like she's got the face of a middle-aged woman who's been awake for 48 hours.

So, Kimi and Susie have been reversed as far as ages and roles, and apparently Betty’s niece will be a character, and will fill in for Taffy.

Unfortunately it’s likely inevitable.

They had to do it. They had to bring in the series’ Cousin Oliver.
Hopefully he doesn’t chew screen time like he did in the original series. And they better not animate snot bubbles again, especially in CGI.

And they better not animate snot bubbles again, especially in CGI. I never got the Dil hate. Not the character’s fault the writers dumbed down the show. All Grown Up Dil was the man All Grown Up was a mistake unto itself. It was fine to do it once for a 10-year anniversary, but seeing the characters as teenagers full time abandoned the spirit of imagination and discovery that the original series was built around. Besides, they already had As Told By Ginger for that demographic. In the original series, the problem with Dil was that he wasn’t so much a character as he was a prop. He couldn’t talk or interact with even the other babies in a meaningful way. His whole purpose ended up being drool/snot/dirty diaper gags (which again I have no desire to see with even more detailed animation). And yet they were still guided by the Poochie principle: “Every time Dil’s not on screen, the other characters should be asking, ‘Where’s Dil?’” His only real saving grace was what he brought out in Tommy as a big brother. It was certainly nice to see their relationship in contrast with Stu and Drew, who as grown men continued to bicker like little children. I agree that the writing got really bad once Paul Germain left. Most of the characters underwent bad cases of flanderization, with the adult characters getting it the worst (something the new series is commendably trying to correct). Now that he’s back on board, there’s a chance he’ll know what to do with Dil as a character so he’s not just “there” while simultaneously having the show revolve around him constantly.

Yeah, I’m Rugrats kayfabe, it doesn’t make sense that Dil couldn’t talk with the other kids. And Angelica and Susie never forgot?
