Watching Angle/Rock at NWO 2001 and Big Show runs in to his theme song and destroys both and the ref and then leaves to his music. Ik Rock beat Show to get the match but did this even go anywhere

That late AF Papa Shango run in at Mania 2? (or was it 1) It was WM VIII in 1992.

I would say Brutus's run in man gimmick especially since nothing came of it. I wonder why it was scrapped. Why he still too far away from being able to wrestle or did WWF think fans would recognize him?

You want to talk random? During Chyna's 1999 push and I think it was prior to the Royal Rumble. Chyna took on Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco on Raw. All of a sudden Sable's music came on and she came out, but then Luna came out and attacked her. It almost felt like it wasn't the right time for her to come out. Even at that time, I was like "Why is she coming out?"

And it was Wrestlemania XII by the time he made it to the ring The funniest thing was Papa Shango lumbered out there like a goof after missing his cue.

There were about a million in WCW between late 99-2001.

On the first Russo written Nitro, Evan Karagias vs. Juventud Guerrera was interrupted by Bret Hart who cut the first work-shooty promo of the Russo era.

X-Pac and Scott Hall coming out during The Undertaker Vs Steve Austin match at Backlash 2002, them being there wasn't the random part as Austin and the NWO had been feuding since February. No the random part was the fact that Hall and Pac just stood in the aisle and did nothing and then left. They didn't even attack Austin or distract special referee Ric Flair allowing Taker to get a dirty win. So why even bother to come out at all?

Not a run in per se, but Jimmy Snuka's appearance before Garvin/Bravo at Mania 5.

X-Pac interfering in the Austin v Taker first blood match where if Taker lost Vince was gone. Yeah I know Taker was semi feuding with X-Pac & Kane at the time but it still seems weird.
So X-Pac ended the Austin v McMahon feud basically.

What exactly was the reason for Jeff Jarrett attacking Owen Hart during his entrance at the '98 Royal Rumble? I don't remember even the slightest hint of a build-up to that on TV, since Owen was fully occupied with DX.

There were about a million in WCW between late 99-2001. During a feud between Sid and nWo 2000, Curt Hennig (who was not in that incarnation of the nWo) randomly came out to take a bump on the hood of a car. I believe this was only done because no one in the nWo would or could take that bump so they sent Curt out to take despite him having absolutely nothing to do with it. It wasn't referenced again and he was off TV about a week later.

Okay, I'm not sure if this counts, but Scott Hall interfering in a match between Jerry Flynn and Mike Enos on Thunder in 1998. So you basically have a match between two perennial lower mid-carders/jobbers, and then you have Scott Hall come out all drunk and attack both Flynn and Enos, delivering the Outsider's Edge on both of them just to cut a promo on the Wolfpac, especially Nash and Konnan (which was setting up Hall's match with Konnan at Fall Brawl). When you have a match involving wrestlers of that caliber, it shouldn't come as much of a shock when a more established talent comes in and interferes like that.

I wouldn't say it was completely random, but when Sandman lost the ECW title to Mikey Whipwreck, he interfered in the next 2 matches because "Yo, I'm pissed off!" (His "Shah-Shit" caning of Hack Myers and Dances With Dudleys still has me giggling.)

Not during a match, but was it ever explained why Mike Awesome attacked Kevin Nash in his WCW debut?

WCW '98 -
nWo is in full effect. Chris Jericho is not part in any remote way of the nWo. The Giant comes out and saves him twice from something and it's never mentioned again.
