Does it hurt anyone to change the name? No.
Would it allow a kid or two to feel better or learn something to not conform to toxic gender norms when playing with toys? Probably to maybe. Net positive lets do it and shut up cause change is scary or something

Funny unrelated story: My mom got my younger brother a NY Giants themed Mr. Potato Head for Christmas a long time ago and treated it more as a gag gift than anything else. But my brother absolutely loved it, so every year until she passed, she would try and find him the weirdest Mr. Potato Head that she could find. He has most of the Star Wars ones, as well as Buzz Lightyear (Spud Lightyear), and the Indiana Jones one. |
