Yes the influx of new talent has made all the difference hasn't it? I'm glad I stuck with it through some of those rough shows - there's still a few issues but the outlook is a lot more positive now.

You talking about the same Wes Brisco that was in TNA? No way that would been him because that Brisco had a bunch of Tattoos on his chest and sides of his torso.

Illinois schools are mostly out, and him and Billy worked together before in Resistance Pro where for a little bit Robert Anthony was one of the most over guys, wouldn't surprise me if its him.

The End are the only new guys that I've been impressed with (everyone seems to like Clearwater but as you say they haven't shown him enough to really tell). They have a million big hoss dudes who are all basically the same but Odinson actually seems like he can go. Yeah check out some CWfH. Clearwater is a star and Slice Boogie is in is the bodega with Danny Limelight (you’ve probably seen him in AEW) a really great tag team. Then there’s guys like Gentle Jarvis and Levi Sapporo it’s probably a better hour of wrestling than NWA is most weeks. CWFH is a much better hour of wrestling than NWA. And the Bodega is a great stable. Papo Esco is a great heavyweight. And found out the other day good friend Jon Paul Leblanc is going to be the ringside photographer for the two NWA ppvs in St Louis. Saw what he is getting paid and Big Buck Billy is throwing out a pile of money. NWA is paying photographers more than GFW or Impact have.

Yeah that’s when I changed my mind from Brisco to Anthony. Brisco does have deep blue eyes and bad promo skills.

Switching things up this week on POWER - Kyle has Strictly Business with him at the podium. Thom has zero thoughts on the main event tonight which sums up the need for this promo. Adonis claims to be the rightful National champion, Kamille and Aldis take shots at Billy Corgan for booking the two against each other in the first round of the tournament being "bad business" and attempting to stir up trouble within Strictly Business aaaaand we're done.
Backstage May is with the War Kings. Crimson has asked for a No DQ match with Slice Boogie who's been a thorn in their side. He vows to take care of Slice once and for all.
Our first match features the in ring debut of the Mystery Man who is facing off against Mims. This was a lot longer match than I was expecting, the masked man dominates the early minutes while Velvet speculates if he wears his mask to sleep at night, but eventually Mims mounts a decent little comeback. Of course it's short lived, and a slingblade and a rolling Death Valley Driver gets the victory for the Mystery Man.
After a quick pep talk from BLK Jeez, he and Jordan Clearwater - fully teamed up with a tag name of The Church is Money - are set to face Tyrus in a handicap match. Jeez claimed to have a plan, which seemingly involves laying down for the pin, but Jordan is reluctant and tries to walk out. Eventually he is talked around and Tyrus pins them both. What?
Next we've got Serena and Rosa facing off at the promo table. Serena's planning on invoking her rematch clause for the women's title soon, but Rosa's not having it. She's not happy with Serena following her around trying to steal her shine, and she claims she should be the #1 contender. Kyle posits that the simplest way to solve the problem would be for the two to have a match, but then diffuses the tension by asking the ladies who they have been impressed by on the NWA roster. Serena names Kylie Rae who is happy to be mentioned amongst two of the best wrestlers in the world, but before Rosa can name her choice (Skye Blue) Melina interrupts and starts to fan the flames (in a very complicated way) between Rosa and Serena, and of course Rosa calling Serena a bitch kicks off a brawl through the curtain.
Backsage May is with Taryn and Jennacide, and Terrell points out how ridiculous it was that Rosa and Serena overlooked Jenna when she has been so impressive. Taryn knows that Serena is super busy working for "that AWE company" but she shouldn't overlook Jennacide. (This would have made more sense before Deeb lost the title?)
It's GRUDGE MATCH time. Crimson puts a fast whooping on Slice from the opening bell and the action soon spills to the outside where Crimson throws Boogie straight into his tag partner Marshe Rockett. Slice eventually comes back and hits a tornado inverted DDT which I don't remember seeing before, before introducing a steel chair into the ring. After regaining control of the match, whipping Slice multiple times with his belt before hitting a Death Valley Driver, Crimson has the match won only to abandon the pin attempt himself. He wants to use the chair and punish Slice more, except his partner Jax Dane stops him from doing so. Regardless, Crimson hits another DVD and this time makes the three count. So that's another guy using the DVD as their finisher, and another tag team with chemistry issues. It's a 45 minute show! Come up with some different ideas!
The main event is the second National title qualifier, and Trevor Murdoch and a sinking Aron Stevens (he broke Velvet's chair) join Joe on commentary. Parrow has a brief moment at the start of the match but the 2v1 quickly takes effect and Adonis and Latimer grind him down before ejecting him from the ring. The two Strictly Business boys then alternate between sportsmanly wrestling each other and taking out Parrow each time he attempts to get back into the ring. The finish comes when Adonis and Latimer hit a huge superplex on Parrow, Adonis convinces Latimer to go to the top rope to hit a moonsault, and Adonis sneaks behind his back and gets the pin. Latimer is upset but it will be Adonis vs JTG for the National title in a match straight out of WWE Superstars from 2011.

NWA has a knack for constantly bringing back wrestlers I had no clue were still wrestling. BLK Jeez is another one of those names. I remember him from old CZW Days with Ruckus and of course early CHIKARA as Kingston would say "A Guy named Sabian".

BREAKING NEWS to start Powerrr this week - Billy's come up with another one of his rad ideas - there will be a points based tournament called the Champions Series starting in July.
Back inside GPB Studios Galli tells us that this week's episode is going to be heavy on women's action (about time!) with Melina vs Kylie in the main event, and our opener is Jennacide (with Taryn) vs Lady Frost. Jenna starts the match in control while the commentators talk about how Taryn has aligned herself to another woman in addition to Kamille. Jennacide's make up is the same colour as Frost's hair - these two should a tag team really! Jenna spends a lot of the match working over Frost's arm (with Taryn's occasional assistance from the outside), and just when she tries to make a comeback, a very safe looking Tombstone piledriver ends things abruptly. Taryn overly celebrates the victory with Jenna.
We get a flashback of the Sal/Colby/Luke Hawx triple threat match which apparently aired on something called High Voltage? Is that on Youtube? I actually wanted to see this match! Anyway Sal won, and he's with his BFF May Valentine (I love that they kept this going) celebrating becoming the #1 contender to the TV title. Danny Deals is with them too for some reason hamming it up for the camera. Sal is fired up about potentially becoming a champion until he gets blindsided by Colby Corino. Colby beats Sal down while May calls for security. Colby attempts a brainbuster on the apron but Sal's legs accidentally slingshot off the ropes and they take a really nasty looking fall down to the outside. Ouch!
After the break Kyle tells us that the TV title match is postponed because of Sal's injury, and Aron Stevens is trying to put together a match to fill the hole on the card. Thankfully we have everyone's favourite double act Austin Idol and Tyrus to filibuster. Austin declares war on the Pope (sacrilegious?) and Pope makes his way out, more than happy to oblige. Tyrus wants to go too, but Idol holds back his man.
Stevens has managed to book his match - it will be Aron, Mims and some dude called Captain YUMA (think Shark Boy minus the mask?) vs Kratos and the Hawx boys. The tag champions have apparently put this together themselves in the spirit of competition and they actually spend the beginning of the match chatting to each other in the neutral corner. The fun and games end when YUMA gets into the match and calls Kratos into the ring. Kratos suplexes the dude literally the entire way across the ring - and that apparently was all that La Rebelion can handle as they interrupt upset with this match making a mockery of wrestling. They take a cheap shot on YUMA outside the ring to cause a no contest decision, and all of the competitors chase the Puerto Ricans to the back.
Backstage with May, Crimson acknowledges that Slice Boogie is a tough competitor but last week he showed that the young kid got in over his head. May asks Jax why he interfered against his tag partner during the match - you know shit is getting real because Jax starts calling Crimson by his real name. Jax has some issues with "Anthony" but will raise them "in front of the whole world on Power" which I assume means next week?
At the podium Kyle welcomes the National championship competitors for next week's main event. Adonis is feeling confident because he has backup with Latimer, while JTG has no friends. He spoke too soon though because Jay is joined by Fred Rosser, who's a man that can't stand bullies. The odds are evened!
May is with the Mystery Man again - but this isn't any ordinary interview - it's a new sitdown segment with it's own introduction called Heart 2 Heart! The Mystery Man has dedicated his life to wrestling and claims to be the best technical wrestler in the world. May probes for more details about his history, but the Mystery Man goes full politician and refuses to answer any of her questions. This went on long enough as it was but apparently you can watch the uncut version on Youtube - if you do, you're a better man than me.
After the commercial May's discarded her chair and is standing up again with WRESTLING SUPERSTAR Thunder Rosa. Rosa says she's got Melina's back but she isn't sure if her strategy of pissing everyone off is the best idea. TR's gonna sit the main event out.
It's great to finally see Kylie in the ring again! They start off with some technical exchanges but that goes out of the window quickly when Melina gets sick of Kylie's counters, and she utilises an eyepoke and some hairpulling to take control. A shoulder tackle and a DDT gets Melina a two count. Melina sets up for the Sunset Split but Kylie reverses her way out and a superkick and wins. That was decent but way too short. This week's episode can't have been much more than 30 minutes once all the ads were taken out. Give me five minutes more wrestling!

Does Dave Lagana still work there? Not that anyone is aware of unless he's like doing Russo-esque covert production.

Since I haven't watched NWA since it moved to FITE,how is Luke and PJ Hawx been on the shows? Still remember when PJ was a 13 year old kid coming out to the ring with his dad. Seen a bit of their tag team in ROW and PJ has the chance to be something big. Just hoping his Dad and the many people in wrestling that don't like Luke holds PJ back from reaching the level he can reach.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Chris Adonis won the NWA National Title, defeating JTG to win it.
He gave up and vacated it so he could enter a battle royale for a World Title Shot which he got eliminated from, and then wins the heldup title back.

He was involved in a triple threat match for number one contender for the tv title. Aaron Stevens randomly faced him on a show after they set up the triple threat because Stevens like PJ’s moxley.
