The biggest decimation of a world champ since Cena and Backlund tho I feel like Backlund had more credibility than Miz had. At least Backlund could fight the world champ to some form of stalemate, even though his win was dubious. Just thinking about it, I genuinely can't think of another world champion WWE has presented as weak as they did with this Miz reign. Are we saying that Lashley & Drew didn’t look strong last night? Miz was never supposed to look strong. Mania is for giving the babyface the victorious moment. Drew’s moment last year was subdued. If Lashley spends the next 5 weeks destroying everything & Drew beats him at Mania, that’s the story they want to tell here. Miz as champion will be forgotten next week as he starts feuding with Bad Bunny again. Backlund had Bret Hart in the crossface chickenwing for 8 minutes when he won the belt while Owen tricked their mother into throwing in the towel on Bret. That match continued the best brother vs brother feud I’ve ever seen, and for his trouble, Backlund ended up getting squashed by Kevin Nash immediately after. They made Nash look like he was the baddest man on the planet letting him destroy the vicious heel Backlund.

The crowd LOST ITS SHIT.

Huh. I actually tuned out after Miz ran away, but cool they ran with it.
Now if we could avoid doing the whole-show dick pull just to keep people tuned in, that'd be something.

I believe he is the first ever:
ECW, WWE and Impact World Champion?

I believe he is the first ever: ECW, WWE and Impact World Champion? If you're counting WWE ECW, then it would be Rob Van Dam.

I hope it’s a long run. Going to suck for him after all these years to lose in five weeks to Drew for a third version of the same boring reign.

It's cause the dude looks like he came down from Mount Olympus with the express purpose of tearing someone limb from limb. I love athletic wrestling, but there's something to be said for a 6 foot plus dude who looks like he was chiselled out of marble carrying the top championship.

WWE's title picture is so stacked right now I sorta wanna tune back in The last year has had some of the best booked champions at the same time in a long time Roman is killing it on SD, Finn has been crazy good on NXT carrying the brand picking up from Cole and Drew and now Lashley have been carrying RAW with how hot they have been

Yeah I saw anyone who wants to tune in, do what I do. Watch highlights on YouTube, keep up with the show live on social media and sites and if you wanna truly be in do that.
Me, I saw the raw but I didn't watch on USA if you feel me lol. SD though I'm watching weekly because it's a Friday night where I'm chilling.

His dad's uncle is surely justifiably proud.
That's cool, I've always liked ol Bobby.

If you put every single WWE wrestler on a poster and asked someone who doesn’t watch to pick who they think the world champion is you probably get a LOT of votes for Bobby.

I much prefer big dudes (that can actually work- not you Ryback) like Lashley, Lesnar, Cena, HHH, Batista etc holding the belt to smaller guys. Austin wasn't quite as jacked as them but he was still 6'1 and 250 pounds. Bret was actually pretty jacked too.

Also I love that a year ago MVP's manager thing was a joke where everyone would write him off then kick his ass, and now he's got both the WWE and Raw Tag champions in his camp. And had the US Champion in his Camp a week ago, technically The Hurt Business have technically had runs with every title but Intercontinental because it's on Smackdown, and both Women's Titles. It'd be real cool if they added a girl to their ranks because frankly the RAW Women's division needs it bad. But that being said MVP deserves talk about being one of the higher tiers of managers in WWE History at this point, a World Champ, a US Champ, Tag Champs, all within a year of his tenure, that's not something done often. Asuka, Shayna or Io for the Hurt Business please. Also little side fact: If Shelton Benjamin is in your Stable, you will win Titles. -Team Angle? WWF/E HW and WWE Tag -Suzuki-Gun? All the GHC Belts in NOAH -Hurt Business? All the RAW men Titles

I know this is Lashley's moment and all, but I just want to give a big kudos to The Miz for doing the work that very few want to do in being put in a transitional spot like that. He put so much effort into making Lashley look like a star and getting squashed like that, his heat (whether it be legitimate or go-away to some) helped amplify the moment for what it was.
I'd go as far as to say that The Miz is one of the most unselfish performers on the roster. You never hear him complain about his spot on the roster, has no shame in looking like a goober both in and out of the ring, and has been a perfect foil to so many guys for well over 16 years now.
The moment is definitely all for Lashley, but I'd love to be the fly on the wall for the exchange between those two guys behind the curtain after the title exchange was done.

Came to say something similar. I'm glad he has another reign on the resume.

Which is why he was put in that position because he is a company man Not many people would made themselves look as foolish as they did but Miz went full force to put Bobby over as big as possible
