He’s playing for 20 televised wins in a row tonight in a match against Curt Stallion. However, he is not undefeated in his WWE TV career, with a career record of 21-4-0.

He got 20! Career TV record goes to 22-4-0, and he's one win away from tying Kofi Kingston's TV PB (from his world title run in 2019) in my stats (covering 2007 onwards): For the sake of balance, here's the corresponding TV losing streak list over the same timeframe:

LOL they doubled Manny's record for this angle. (that, or he had a 20 match win streak on the Orange Loop) EDIT: This is an accurate statistic per his cagematch, including Main Event, the Orange Loop, and EVOLVE. And his win streak includes wins over the likes of Dexter Lumis, Austin Theory, Cameron Grimes, The Brian Kendrick, Cesaro, SLAPJACK, Kassius Ohno, Dolph Ziggler, AR Fox, and Ridge Holland. www.cagematch.net/?id=2&nr=19588&page=4

Are they building him as the next challenger for Escobar?

Are they building him as the next challenger for Escobar? More likely padding his stats for the next blood money PPV

He should show up and challenge Drew after accusing him of disrespecting cruiserweights.

21! Teamed up with Ricochet to beat Gulak and Tozawa on Main Event. This ties the Kingston PB.

Looking back at that list... It’s amazing to think how pointless some of these winning streaks were. Brodus Clay for example, 33 STRAIGHT TELEVISED WINS, and he got butt-f***ing nothing to show for it. Literally nothing. Never went higher up the card like Ryback did. Nor was it strong champion booking like it was for Asuka, Kingston, Sheamus and Alexander. It was just wins for the sake of wins. Same with people like Adam Rose, Los Matadores, and arguably Aleister Black as well.

22! (“AWW MAN, AWW MAN... GOLDBERG!”)
There was tension leading to Curt Stallion actually getting the fall on Sunil Singh in a tag match, but it counts all the same. He’s now passed Kofi Kingston on the list above to go into outright 6th. Next one up, Adam Rose on 25.
