Cinematic match was cool and all but not even close to being Stings match on the grandest stage of them all. I still hope to see more from Sting in AEW.

Ew, why are we comparing this first off
But second off... no, just no. That match was f***ing terrible, overbooked, and had one of the worst after match scenes ever. HHH vanity buried Sting there
Like... this isn't even a debate to me, just because it was Mania doesn't mean it was a good or better match.

Were we supposed to be comparing the two ? Yes because everyone says that it would be so horrible if Stings match with HHH was his last match to go out on basically. Maybe they consider the match with Seth Rollins but that wasn't even really a match. Anyway. Id prefer him going out against HHH.

I thought it was a solid cinematic match with surprisingly high production values.

Sting looked great in that match and he and HHH are both known for overbooked matches. It was a callback to the attitude Era that was the point.

I'd rather Sting put over young talent like Darby than stroke HHH's bloated ego but to each their own.

Is this really what this forum is going to be now?
It’s all subjective, but I think Sting/HHH might be one of the 10 worst Wrestlemania matches ever. This one was a clever use of a 61-year-old Sting, had some fun spots, and wasn’t a 20 minute ego stroke.
Guess we agree to disagree.

Yeah, what this really needed was more kettle drums, history-defying Hogan appearances and DX cameos.
