I did a search and couldn't find a reference to this on the forum. So, the whole MJF in The Inner Circle thing. It's going to end exactly as The Rock joining the Nation, with him booting out the leader (Jericho/Faarooq) in an in-ring segment, isn't it? Perhaps as soon as tomorrow? (The possible PPV spoilers were there precautionary in case it makes folk twig the titles result on the show. I'm just being charitably nice. )

I saw Brian Zane make the same comparison in his review. It's really not a bad move to take parallels from, but I'm sure it will be different, especially the potential aftermath.

Honestly I figured this was the plan from the beginning.
Face Jericho & Sammy vs MJF/LAX

Honestly, I think that promo felt so much like it was going to happen that I sort of think it’s a red herring.
Don’t get me wrong, the end game is coming but I’d be surprised if it was Wednesday.

I think the end game is MJF leading the Inner Circle, but I think Jericho kicks out PnP or Hager next. Jericho is going to look around and realize what he's done. Now that he's betrayed everyone he ever loved, pushed them all away.

Then Jericho gets new cronies potentially, but they're under MJF's thumb, and in terms of picking a team to do that with, there's a plethora in AEW. The Pretty Picture and Ryan Nemeth would be perfect underling goons for MJF if they went that direction.

I’ve assumed from Day 1 that MJF would eventually oust Jericho and take over the Inner Circle, it’s the logical endgame for this story.
Sammy eventually saving Jericho from an Inner Circle beat down should likely be in the cards at some point too but I have no idea what his status is right now. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how Sammy returns tho

Given the general sentiment for Jericho in regards to his outside-the-ring antics, him as the face in this potential angle is going to be a really tough sell.

It seems to be the direction they are going. It it very strongly implied that the "change" that MJF wants is a change of leadership.

I mean why not. He already has his Stone Cold.
Him and Mance Warner have extremely good chemistry together.
Mance is kinda like Ethan Page it’s more of when he signs than if he signs.
Those two are going to make a lot of money together.

I kind of wish MJF & Wardlow were with FTR/Tully/Spears instead. Maybe have the Inner Circle agree for one last hoorah together before going their separate ways.
They’re probably going to take their time with it(as they absolutely have so far) but it might be all downhill from here for Jericho/Inner Circle.

That got my attention. That’s quite a stable to put around MJF (yes, I even kinda like Spears in it.) I figured MJF was already a main event guy by now, that had to solidified it. He’s at least officially #2 heel behind Omega, which is probably obvious.
