Agree on selling himself more. However, I do wonder if he's not long for ROH. He said to SRS that his contract was up at the end of the calendar year and I wouldn't be surprised if somebody like AEW jumped at him given he's got ties there with Orange, Cody, etc. ROH is basically using him on pre-shows and not much else from what I've seen. It shocks me ROH doesn't see a bigger use for this guy. He's basically getting himself over better than ROH has in using him at all. I do think however him signing with ROH was a good holdover to continue to get paid, and to continue to find what worked for the gimmick and improve himself in ring. I feel like he's a better commodity now than he would have even been last year for a company like AEW to look at. He's proving his worth and popularity what seems to be more by the day. I have no idea how long he's expected to be in ROH, but it could be that they don't anticipate he will re-sign, or maybe they want him to get more polished before they strap a rocket to him. Of course, could be that they just don't get what they have here. It's honestly not always very easy to tell what ROH's headspace is, especially since I am not sure who the booker(s) currently are.

They need to try to do something with him soon. He's getting noticed by The Rock and CM Punk, he's being featured on Conan O'Brien's podcast... They have someone who could become a star, but if their idea is "lets not push him because he might leave", that's what they did with Marty. Yes in hindsight, it's a good thing they didn't push Marty, but he was their hottest talent in April 2019, and they didn't wanna push him because he might jump to AEW.

If ROH were that concerned about Danhausen leaving for AEW, why not build him up while they have him so that a) his "star factor" builds them up as a promotion and b) he becomes as valuable a commodity to them that he won't want to leave? While AEW might be an enticement for him, I would warn him utterly away from WWE - at the very least, I'd be crunching the numbers of a contract with them versus the status quo (the bigger cut on his merch, the freedom to be Danhausen instead of losing it all so Vince can "own" his character, etc.) Honestly, ROH can be a very good fit for him as he'd be a big fish in a smaller pond and can still do what he wants away from that.

I completely forgot that one. I mean, it doesn’t have a cape so it might as well be the first one 😋

Similarly, I barely watch ROH, but I heard of him with his collabs with Warhorse in 2019. I have fallen down a Danhausen rabbithausen and watched a lot of his content lately. Very good, and very evil. Also his Jimmy Hart version of Tequila is so so good(and evil).

I liked Danhausen's camera transitions during his promo battle with Brian Johnson on ROH last night, and Danhausen's commentary.

IMO these should be some of the most sought after dates to get if I'm a wrestling company
AEW should absolutely book him for a TNT Title open challenge match.

AEW should absolutely book him for a TNT Title open challenge match. Could be something in his ROH contract preventing him from doing so.
