WWE announced that on Tuesday April 6th, there will be a Hall of Fame ceremony streamed on Peacock. It will feature the 2020 class as well as a new 2021 class that will be announced over the coming weeks.

Molly Holly (she is on good terms with the WWE last I checked)
Jon Huber (maybe too soon, but he was beloved among the wrestlers)
Warrior award: "Virtual" award for first responders

Molly Holly is the first announced inductee for the 2021 Hall of Fame.

They literally just announced Molly as the first 2021 inductee. Like, it’s all a bit weird because of the whole COVID thing and she’s (probably?) not gonna get a crowd for her speech, but she’s earned it all the same.

Are they doing some of the inductees by video? If so, they could get some of the very old (so not able to travel) but alive and deserving names in that way.

No, they’ve just said when it’s going to air (Tuesday April 6 on Peacock in the US, Network everywhere else). I can only assume it’d be a mix of Zoom for some and live in the Thunderdome for others.

I'm assuming they may do the actual inductions from Capital Wrestling Center - the Thunderdome is going to have to leave Tropicana by the time Mania comes around and I question if they'll actually keep it in Florida or move to another state. It's an hour and a half drive from Orlando to Tampa.

I went on a Molly Holly binge-watch last year (mostly Heat matches) and she was so, so, so good. Her work was so tight (it’s clear from her grappling work that she trained with Dean Malenko) and she brought the best out of her opponents and made everyone shine.Trish Stratus always mentions her whenever she thanks people, and rightfully so; I think Molly helped Trish improve more than anyone else. She was a two time champ (should have been more) and worked for WWE and WCW in one of the most popular times in history. She definitely deserves this.

She is also one of the most beloved names in the history of WWE locker rooms. So many people have wonderful things to say about her, and she helped to push forward women’s wrestling while she was there; from suggesting Victoria’s finishing move, to paying for wrestling lessons for Beth Phoenix as a rookie.
