Maybe the more interesting thing now is Darby and Sting seem to have cleanly moved on from Team Taz into new territory, so I'm curious what Taz, Starks, Cage, Hobbs, and Hook do now, as they were absent completely from the show tonight to seemingly give them a bit of a reset. We have two big faction wars brewing already (Inner Circle/MJF Squad and Dark Order/Big Money Inc). Do they join up with the likes of Omega to help take out Moxley? Something else? I guess Taz is always on DARK so there's that I honestly can't wait for the Second Show/Trios Titles to become an official thing cause I think it'll really help out in the future. But I'm sure whatever they do will be welcomed, as everyone had wanted them away from Darby/Sting and in a new direction.

No idea, though honestly they seem like an especially useless stable to me. Feel like Starks has too much charisma to really need a manager (and his current role makes him feel too much like Diet Sammy Guevara) and Cage just kind of sucks in general. I'd probably just quietly break them up and have Taz continue to manage Hobbs.

I mean, Taz still outs over on commentary that he respects Moxley but also that there is still bad blood, so maybe. I could also see them more properly feud with the Nightmare Family, maybe.
Beyond that, maybe they just can do their own thing for a sec and not worry about being in anyone's orbit. Also, could see Taz maybe picking up someone like Leyla Hirsch, who'd fit right in his group.

Cage has had some fantastic matches with Sydal and Darby imo and did some really cool stuff in the street fight. I don't think this is a faction that just quietly breaks up, it's been a thing for quite awhile. At the very least you need some dissension in the group, like when Starks and Cage were both looking at the TNT Title, but right now I don't think we're at that point. Ricky'd be the obvious one to go solo if they did though.

Taz picking Leyla up would be great, she's the exact type of style fit for his group even if I really like her as a face which would be my one argument against it. I liked Hobbs as a face too though... dude's a born heel.

Her aesthetic is pretty in line with Ricky Starks, and her wrestling could fit in with the general team aesthetic if taken in a heelish direction. Pair her and Leyla together and it'd be a pretty great pair of tough, technical bruisers. Leyla was also on the heel side this week, so who knows, maybe it's coming. Only problem is that both of them are so naturally likable that it'd be hard to really make them heels.

Feud with The Best Club of Gentlemen Friends. I am 100% serious. When the Miro story blows off which I assume is within the next few weeks, I wouldn't mind that really Cassidy vs Cage could be a really good match, same with Starks/Cassidy, and Cassidy/Hobbs would be a rematch from when Hobbs lost to Cassidy in his first ever match on DARK, to an orange Punch in seconds, a lot to play off of there. It's definitely an option.

I can see them feuding with Dark Order next if Omega is tied up with Mox/Eddie/Christian for the next few months. Page must be done with Hardy now I would imagine so maybe Cage v Page?

I was just going to suggest Hangman. You can bring in the Dark Order to even the numbers and take out the other members of Team Taz and hopefully along the way we'd get Page vs. Starks, too.

Hardy on the show tonight said he's not done with Hangman, he basically signed Butcher and Blade on to help build his army which now potentially consists of Private Party, BBB, Hybrid 2, and potentially Max Caster (Bowens too if he's not hurt anymore) to fight Dark Order in a big war. I feel like this feud is gonna lead to Stadium Stampede 2, that's my dream

Oh my.

Split up. They've proven to be an ineffectual group. Let Ricky fly free

AEW being so faction heavy is such a double-edged sword to me. On the one hand, I love how reminiscent of New Japan it is, and it goes a long way toward AEW's kayfabe world feeling organic and real, because all the wrestlers interact with one another and all of the stories are interconnected. But, on the other hand, you have situations like this where one group is not really doing much of anything after losing a feud.
I would say targeting Christian wouldn't be the worst feud for Team Taz to pivot into. Taz being upset that a veteran like Christian is showing up to take the shine off of his guys, with a tinge of jealousy that Christian can still go and Tazz can't despite them being contemporaries. It'd be a good feud, and would probably prompt Christian to have to get some allies himself (which would be an opportunity to really elevate some of the Dark squad...I'm thinking Shawn Dean and Carley Bravo maybe).
All that said, I am in the camp that AEW really needs to elevate Brian Cage to true main event level. The dude is a freak and shouldn't be able to do the stuff with his roided out body that he does. I am always loath to bring the "casual fan" into these discussions (because I don't know that I think that such a thing is really even attainable for wrestling in 2021), but my fiance is the very definition of "casual fan" and/or "person who thinks wrestling is her partner's goofy and nerdy guilty pleasure," but when she's seen Cage matches she's stopped and commented on how impressive and terrifying he is. He looks like a movie supervillain and can put on a believable and solid match, to boot.

Being Hook's cornermen on Elevation. Har har. I don't know, Hook does nothing for me. I couldn't even tell you what the guy looks like, he's so nondescript. He does throw a mean Tazplex though, for sure. I'd have him be a developmental guy at best. I echo the earlier sentiment that Taz should manage Will Hobbs and just turn Hobbs into a suplex-throwing destroyer. An evil Mirror Universe version of Big E. Ricky Starks should absolutely fly solo, giving him a chance to talk. Brian Cage I'm not sure about. He should definitely be a featured performer for them because he does draw in the casual viewer, going from my own experience watching with people. He could use a manager/talker though. However, pairing him with Taz would take some of the shine off of Hobbs. But yeah, I'd say Cage and Starks should both go off on their own. Problem is, nobody really goes off on their own in AEW. It's totally a faction-oriented company like New Japan. I prefer when factions are rare and special (like in 2010 when the Nexus was something we hadn't seen in several years).

Just keep them off TV for a few weeks while some other storylines work themselves out. They lost the feud, they can stay home for a bit.

AEW doesnt want to make decent solo faces. I cant think one... Let alone two. Sooo I guess one of the 15 tag teams not doing anything..
Let's go with Bear Country.

I kinda want to see Eddie Kingston and Taz have a feud over who has the thicker New Yawk accent.
