I dont think its a dead brand as much as its a brand its owner truly Hates. HHH Can only do so much. Imagine if Vince actually allowed it to be promoted during Raw? Imagine if Vince didnt sabotage most NXT Stars upon coming to Raw. How is Keith Lee not a Superstar? I am not an NXT Loyalist but do watch it at times. I saw Keith Lee & Dominik Dijakovic & said THAT should be a Wrestlemania Main Event! Instead Vince has &^%$#^%$#^%# on both of them! Vince never treated NXT talent with respect and it didn’t matter before. As I said, it mattered when they were trying to cut down AEW and we actually had main roster crossover and NXT talent invading the main roster... when AEW cleatly wasn't being effected in the way they liked, that lessened and lessened and now it's essentially done with.

For the sake of comparisons, Dynamite did a better number than the post-PPV show for Full Gear and Double or Nothing last year. And All Out's show went unopposed. I would have liked a bigger number. It's not good by any means. But I don't think it's terrible. NXT also being down despite them doing everything they could to pop a number tells me that part of it was what else was on. Like I've said, next week is a really interesting card and it doesn't seem like they'll have much competition like they did this week in South Park or in the world of wrestling (NXT's show next week seems much weaker than the one this week). So there's a lot to learn in the next month. DON 2020 fallout show also did 0.32 but that show had TYSON advertised.

I feel like NXT only getting 690,000 with those title matches this week is even more interesting, but both they and AEW was against stiff competition. South Park is a huge draw when tey air and this was a special. Next week is their really big show, so that's gonna be more interesting to monitor, as this week was definitely more setup and build. I think at this point NXT has is dedicate fans and thats pretty much it.

Also I will say what I said about Shaq before;
Yes he brought viewers for the night, but that is not the market AEW should be trying to get, they should appeal for more focused and nerdier fanbases if they wanna grow.
I`m also sure when touring starts again they will get a viewership boost too,it simply looks much more impressive

How much and how frequent is anyone's guess, cause I'm sure not all 600-700K NXT fans will simply shift to AEW (Even if that'd be awesome ) But I can see a decent 100-200K average boost for them if that happens, with other factors and depending on competition AEW could be getting close to or over a million within the next few months.

Vince never treated NXT talent with respect and it didn’t matter before. Vince treated NXT with respect at first. But purpose was to put AEW out of business. Remember he moved Balor to NXT and wouldn't allow talent to be called up from NXT at that time. Had NXT invading Raw and Smackdown. With Raw and Smackdown wrestlers appearing on NXT. Then had Survivor Series had NXT win the most brand vs brand match ups. When AEW got the two year extension for 175 million. That AEW got to spread out over four years is when Vince stop caring. After that he just used them as sacrifice to keep AEW from doing better.

Balor going to NXT had nothing to do with Vince wanting to crush AEW. He went because he hated being on the main roster and worked something out with Triple H so he could go to NXT and stay with the company.

And he's even stopped doing that, because Aleister Black requested to go back to NXT and they denied him, to... sit in catering and do nothing. There are quite a few WWE guys who could have used an NXT refresh but it no longer seems on the table. I guess the likes of Balor and Breezango lucked out.

They were always going to send big name former top NXT guy to NXT. Too add another star for the show. Kevin Owens even said he thought he was going to NXT for a while. Balor ended up being the guy.

Only Balor got it since they were always going to add big name to the roster. Vince just decided that Balor was more expendable then Kevin Owens.

The South Park special was gonna eat into that I feel like something else was new as well last night that was pretty hyped up... masked singer maybe?
Combine rhat with the tnt audio issues and a relatively lackluster show advertised and the number isn't surprising

Combine rhat with the tnt audio issues and a relatively lackluster show advertised and the number isn't surprising They clearly saved their ammo for next week, and they did so in spades. Card is stacked for next week and it isn't going against a loaded NXT card and South Park again so they're definitely looking to rebound there. Inner Circle/MJF fallout also might intrigue people.

The post PPV show for Full Gear did a .30 and then did a .37 the following week. Can't guarantee that kind of bounce but they've set themselves up well for it at least.

The demo took the hit moment TNT had its technical issues, they screwed AEW.

The fifth quarter going down in the demo is interesting given that's when South Park would've ended so if anything you'd have expected it to go up.
