If they can get past his baggage, Moose would be someone they should look into trying to sign.

Suge's a veteran of the scene. He got a big rub from AEW last year, but I gotta trust he knows what he's doing. Even better if he can fill the void left by David Starr while being far less of a scumbag than Starr turned out to be. Maybe both Johnson and Dean could use a showcase match on Dynamite or even something like the Buy-In before a major weekend show. That did wonders for Private Party who were complete unknowns outside the NYC scene. If they're that green, then use a ring general kind of veteran who can cover up rough spots and make them look like a million bucks. If signed on with AEW he probably would've been a jobber and just known as Pineapple Pete. I dont think he wanted that Because AEW don't let performers have any say in their characters. Once you debut as something, once you've done the job there's no gimmick change and no advancement, it's set in stone and you can't change direction, just ask all the talent on the roster who started jobbing on dark and got signed, none of them got any sort of push except the ones who have.

Honestly I never thought of that. The only ones that I can think of with character development were established names. The only one that I can think of from the ground up is The Acclaimed

Will Hobbs? Preston Vance? Alan Angels? Cezar Bononi? And I realized the post is likely sarcastic

I thought Rich Swann was the Impact World Champ with Domestic violence allegations there was more than I thought His isnt as bad as Swanns if I remember right. But still bad that WWE passed on him The timing is what reportedly f***ed him over; WWE was fine with it right up until Lawler had a domestic violence issue going on, which made WWE want to not court nay more of that, so they asked hi to hold back for a little bit until things cooled down, Moose didn't want to wait and signed with TNA instead.

Honestly I never thought of that. The only ones that I can think of with character development were established names. The only one that I can think of from the ground up is The Acclaimed The acclaimed started as Dark jobbers, most of the dark order were dark jobbers especially Silver and Reynolds who were the jobbiest, Cesar Bononi now has a role and is starting to show personality after being a giant vanilla jobber, the varsity blondes were dark jobbers, Red Velvet? Jobber. Diamante? Jobber. Ana Jay? Jobber. John Cruz jobber who got a push as Serpentico as Luther's henchman, heck, Luther turned people around, playing into being a comedy villain rather than a broken down death match veteran. They've built the roster using Dark since the pandemic era hit. If Suge had signed, he would be a solid midcard act now because he has charisma and a kind of likeability they can't teach. The Pineapple Pete stuff would have been dropped if he had an issue, as AEW have shown they're good at accepting input from performers. I hope the door is left open for him, I was a fan and would like to see him again... Even if I loathed the Pineapple Pete name.
