I am thoroughly convinced that Kenny Omega is doing a few obvious but not blatant nods to Crockett-era Ric Flair in terms of his look, booking, and overall presentation. -Don Callis is basically his JJ. -The Good Bros are the Arn/Ole -Can't win a match without some old-school heelin' -Let's face it, Ric Flair was the Best Bout Machine of the 80's. -Blond Mullets What I'm saying is, we now have to wait for Kenny to shave his head and finally give us the Spartacus character.

What's interesting about this comparison is with the formation of MJF's new group, it almost looks like he might try and make a run at that title too down the line.

Between the Bullet Club reunion and the callbacks to the original nWo that stable had, I never thought Four Horsemen before.
Interesting comparison, especially with MJF's new Horsemen-esque stable around now, too. Don't think it comes to any surprise that the Horsemen are like a perfect template for a heel stable.

Here's another one I just thought of. In the Deathmatch with Mox, he puts a figure 4 on him, and I swear the way he did it was absolutely the way Flair would have done it.

Kenny is pretty crap on the mic so, I wouldn't go that far yet.

Kenny is pretty crap on the mic so, I wouldn't go that far yet. I came here to say this, Kenny is not good on the mic.I like Kenny and find him entertaining. But nothing about him reminds me of Flair.

I'm not seeing Flair.
I'm seeing someone who wants to be Flair, etc.

The Good Brothers compared to Tully and Arn? Tully and Arn were not really a tag team until WWF per say. Tully was the TV champ and in his own feuds, Arn more often teamed with Ole. And both Tully and Arn were singles stars.

This does make me wonder what a Kenny Omega vs Prime 1985 to 1989 Ric Flair match would be like.

I'm not seeing Flair. I'm seeing someone who wants to be Flair, etc. I'm not saying it's a 1:1 comparison. I'm just stating that Kenny is doing an homage in his own way to Crockett era Flair.

Is every faction leader going to get a Flair comparison now? Kenny is Kenny, I don't think he's trying to pretend to be more than that.

I'm not seeing Flair. I'm seeing someone who wants to be Flair, etc. Maybe in that pic(which is outdated anyway) you could say the look is similar but Flair and Kenny have nothing in common besides both being bloody amazing and having bitchin glasses.
