I thought he and Tony did a fine job, he seemed natural and his commentary reminded me more of someone doing special comments during a sports match as opposed to a traditional colour commentator. It also had a vibe of watching wrestling with your two uncles while regular DARK is watching with your two shitposting friends.

Good, he had good calls, he seemed genuinely invested into the talent and what was going on. Genuinely seems happy to be here and be doing this, and I imagine the more he gets to sit and do this with Tony the better he's gonna get
Way more laid back than Taz and Excalibur but he definitely was on the ball when he came to calling the show.

Good first night for him I thought, he seemed to get more comfortable as the show went on (this could be me being wrong though cuz IDK what order Dark Elevation is taped in). He has that Taz style bringing up his own in ring experience to call what's going on, but without Taz's goofy weirdness lol.

He did a good job putting over the psychology of matches, sounded really soft spoken

First time doing it, so I'm guessing he had a few jitters. But I thought he did a decent job. With experience behind the mic, he should do fairly well. He's shown to have plenty of charisma.

I was expecting he'd do pretty well, and yeah, he was maybe even a little bit better than I expected. Tony made sense as a partner for him, I think he's in a lot of ways an easy guy to bounce off of. I also feel like if they had used Excalibur, they'd really be in danger of running him ragged, given the sheer amount of commentary he does as it is.

I thought he did great for the first time doing it. He was very invested in it, and had insight on the in ring action. He got a good foundation to build from. Which his tweet says it all. I think in a month or so, we will see more his personality come out.

He's not bad especially for his first time. I do feel like they need someone goofier with them. Jericho would be perfect if he wasn't still wrestling.

With him I believe he will (try and get better). He has such an underrated charisma, and I believe the tools to become really good at the job.

I think Veda would be a good fit for the Elevation table, and not just because I love their commentary and would love to have them back. Tony and Paul hit all of the notes on content, but together, they made for a pretty sedate tone. Someone a little peppier and nerdier would be appreciated just to cap it off a little. The fact that Wight came in with a near-perfect knowledge of the roster is huge. I would have found it forgivable if he had been closer to JR in roster knowledge, but he went above and beyond with making sure that he was ready on day one.

I couldn't help but really want to hear Excaliber and Taz, I just got so used to it. I was hoping he'd more funny, but it's his first night. He doesn't even know the talent, so I'm sure he'll grow into it.

I thought he did a good job. This shows that he definitely does want to help out the talent.

He doesn't even know the talent, so I'm sure he'll grow into it. I dunno I really loved some of his "Oh yeah I used to do that offense all the time!" quips. I think he can grow into the role more and more, but he had some fun calls, he's just more relaxed, that could have also been nerves and him adjusting to the role, but having a ton of matches to call your first night probably helps a ton.

If that was the first time he ever did commentary for a full show, I thought he was really good. Easy voice to listen to and he sounded really chill. I think he'll only get better as he gets more comfortable with the role.

I was expecting he'd do pretty WEEEEEEELLLLL ... Fixed. I thought it was a good start, he has good chemistry with Schiavone. Stumbled over his words a few times, but pretty easy to listen to. His approach added to rather than detracted from the matches, and he did a good job putting the talent over.

Seriously, dude was easy to listen to, had good chemistry with Schiavone, came prepared, seemed enthusiastic about what was happening, and didn't say anything stupid/offensive.

Very, very enjoyable. I didn't expect to like his voice this much, but he sounded so composed, which indeed strengthened the sports feeling. I hope he stays in this direction.

Listening to him right now. He definitely adds some importance to what you're watching. He should be fantastic once he gets into the groove of things.
