Thank you Chrom. Taz and Excaliber calling a match where Serpentico goes up against Fuego Del Sol is already enough for me to feel good. Other good stuff, 10 versus Jack Evans should be really good. John Silver in singles action. Penelope Ford versus Tesha Price is two of my favorite heels going up against each other. Looks like Madi Wrenkowski and KiLynn King are getting some wins, and both have moved up the card. Super excited for tonight. I'm not sure why, but Dark's fun atmosphere is just so relaxing to me. I hope it never changes.

I would have picked Vertvixen over Madi Wrenkowski to get a push, out of the Texas crowd...but the two having a match should be pretty solid.
And hey, Leyla Hirsch, KiLynn King, Bear Country, and Dark Order are all doing things that I'll enjoy.
I can very much see how this is the "B" card in comparison to last night's Elevation, but hoy, having two cards of this length a week is going to be tiring. I'm going to have to pick one or the other, and/or do more skimming and zoning out of the show.

I thought the point of Elevation was to help trim down vanilla Dark's already-stuffed cards? (Not helped by the first Elevation having about 11 matches last night)

15 matches. Bless the audience who has to sit through these There are a lot of people like me who love hearing Taz and Excaliber, and the more matches the better. It's not for everyone, but it gets 400-600k views, so obviously people watch it and enjoy it. I put it on a monitor while I work, and let the soothing riffing of Taz and Excaliber take me away.

Something that's also likely a factor in the bloat: Youtube favors longer videos in its algorithms. This is almost assuredly why the single match videos went away, and just incentivizes AEW to focus on hour-to-two-hour videos no matter how many they're putting out.

Madi getting some kind of push I guess fits what Rosa said about Maki(character mattering much more than pure in ring work)

(My avatar is a background moment from Dark that demonstrates one such instance - Leyla Hirsch only came out for two or three matches before leaving.)

They only have the live crowd for Dynamite. Most of the time. Probably will change when they can tour again. I am guessing you never went to a WWF 4 hour taping with 30 squash matches in the late 80s, early 90s, and never got to experience the awesomeness the awesomeness of 3 Honky Tonk Man matches beating people who's names I didn't even catch. Honestly, I miss it, and am happy someone is doing something similar.

Nah someone stood in front of her and she disappeared.

Another big card? No problem, I'm always excited for more AEW wrestling, and we have some good matches here tonight! Let's run down the card!
Luchasaurus vs Cezar Bononi: This should be a really good big man match. Luchasaurus probably wins since he's a very protected Hoss, but I like to think Bononi gets plenty of shit in.
Madi Wrenkowski vs Vertvixen: Coming off her Hirsch win I assume Madi gets another win here, though I'm really curious how a match betweeen her and Vertvixen is gonna go, it's definitely a match between more same level girls of the division
10 vs Jack Evans: Given the multiple times Evans and 10 had gotten involved in each others business this was inevitable. Still curious if Evans and Angelico are still in the hardy Empire because I really liked that possibility. I assume 10 wins but this is a good match.
Nick Comoroto vs D3: D3 must stand for Dead Three, cause this dude's about to die. Which is usual for him.
The Gunn Club vs David Ali, Adam Priest and Seth Gargis: Gunn Club Match, should be typical and another Trios win. Gargis just lost to Cody in like 10 seconds on Dynamite last week.
Brian Cage and Ricky Starks vs Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss: AEW STARKS returns, and an actual nice even contest here. Starks and Cage win I assume, but this should be a fun match, four good wrestlers. Kiss and Cage could be real fun together.
John Silver vs John Skyler: Silver is the Superior John in this fight.
Dark Order vs Ryzin, Angel Fashion, Baron Black and Vary Morales: Multi-Man Dark Order matches are a ton of fun, plus we get to see more Vary Morales on the other side, who I like!
Chaos Project vs Fuego del Sol and Jake St. Patrick: Chaos Project have not won in a long ass time. Looks like they might finally turn things around. Fuego and St. Patrick are great though, if they pulled off an upset somehow I'd mark.
Penelope Ford vs Tesha Price: Tesha's been great lately, it's gonna be interesting to see how her personality plays off of Ford, who is wrestling for the first time in a bit.
Leyla Hirsch vs Savannah Evans: Hirsch's first match since being signed. Evans is A BIG GIRL so I really can't wait to see how sixe is played in this match and how Hirsch breaks her down
KiLynn King vs Jazmin Allure: Another fun low card women's match, it's nice to say there are now tiers to the women's division. King should win this handily.
Varsity Blonds vs Jorel Nelson and Royce Issacs: I liked Nelson and Issacs a lot on Elevation and they should have a great match with Blondes here. Blondes win I imagine but still thinking this'll be good.
Socal Uncensored vs Aaron Solow and Carlie Bravo: Always like seeing Infantry in a match, but SCU will win because of their stipulation
Bear Country vs Dean Alexander and Brick Aldridge: Nightmare Family gets another match. I'm legit curious how Brick Aldridge is gonna look vs Bear Country since he's been touted as a really big Powerhouse. I have to think Boulder's gonna put him in his place...
Big card, lots of fun matches, I am ready for tonight!

This week it was Jungle Boy vs. Danny Limelight for Elevation. Everyone else is a worker on the show.

I know it's a tiny thing but it bothers me a little that the wrestlers in the front row for the most part are maskless
