Cage vs Hobbs will be big meaty men slapping meat and I'm all for that.

While their Hoss Styles differ, Hobbs and Cage have already had a match, on AEW for the FTW belt before Hobbs joined Team Taz And it was awesome, so I'm all for it with the roles flipped.

No, I am talking about Gordy vs Steiner for that part. I know Hobbs has wrestled, and lost to, Cage and Starks alike, though obviously, both were before joining Team Taz, especially the Starks loss.

Oh yeah, they'll build up Cage vs Hobbs hard this time around because it'll be a much different kind of match. Hobbs has been mad protected for months. He's really the only one in Team Taz who didn't lose the Sting/Darby feud, he's just been wrecking people on DARK/Elevation

They had some singles matches in WCW/NWA in 1989, but nothing taped for TV as far as I know.

I'm not the biggest Cage fan but homie has big potential and he is better as a face since he can pop a crowd with his moves What's going to be interesting is who gets the FTW title in the divorce, eventually. Ricky's the one that makes sense in terms of profile, though it'd fit Hobbs' character more. I think it should be Hobbs since you can still use Stark as a cocky young asshole for a little while before he turns against Taz to do his own thing. I can see him being reverse Sammy where he remains a heel coming out the group

I would have Hobbs vs Cage for the FTW title and Hobbs wins it, he is more suited as FTW champ than Ricky imo.

Has Sting been interviewed and interrupted every week since he debuted?

Cage as a babyface should be interesting and he does have some fun match potential with guys like Archer, Hobbs, Miro, etc. I just hope Ricky Starks doesn't get lost in the shuffle - he's super charismatic, yes, but he also looks like a child next to many members of the AEW roster.
