Oh, and this might shock people, but that Vince segment with Cena and Booker T? Off of Survivor Series 2005. Not in Ireland though. It's not edited on the regular WWE Network in the U.S., either, just Peacock.

I don’t see why peacock can’t do what Disney + have done which is to put disclaimers rightly pointing issues with certain movies from their back catalogue. I think Disney have gotten it right but not condoning the stuff but not ignoring it either. I know I went and read up on the issues raised in those Disney movies because I hadn’t watched them in years and it was helpful. Sanitising history doesn’t help the future. Now their shouldn’t be many people who need to be told why blackface was and is wrong but by acknowledging that it and other unpleasant stuff happened you get people talking. That’s jus my opinion and people are entitled to agree or disagree with it.

I knew editing out shit would happen. f*** all this goddamn woke shit. Ummm what woke stuff, care to elaborate? Because if taking out and calling out racism is a bad thing in this society, you're truly lost. Im not a fan of them removing the match but I can understand why they did it.

If you don't know whats wrong with the blackface angle 🤷♂️ Where did I say it wasn't wrong?
But why are people ok with Benoit, who took 2 lives , not being removed?
The Piper thing is offensive content in the show that is being edited out. There’s clearly a difference.

What’s next? Are Slick and the Bolsheviks going to be edited out because of Slick’s propensity for fried chicken and that Boris and Nikolai weren’t real communists because “True Communism was Never Tried?”

A lot of yall don't realize that there are some content thats gonna get axed. A lot of it doesn't age well because wrestling was booked by a lot of out of touch racists, Disney+ might have disclaimers but there stuff in their vault they're never releasing, so this was gonna happen

Sure, but that doesn’t appear to be what’s being edited so far.

Anything below the year 2010 might be problematic, the attitude era was full of nasty stuff which would never be acceptable today like the horrid use of women and the homophobic stuff. Racism, stereotypes etc are rampant in the 80s/90s. Honestly they should just make "best of" shows from the older days and focus on newer and more suitable content which focuses on the right things.

I'm no fan of racism, but OCD me likes having things as they were originally, warts and all. And yes, I know what's warts and can admit it as I watch.
Plus I want ONE STINKING WEEK when I don't hear whines about That CC Phrase.

But I don't want to lose the old shows. Moreso since I find most current wrestling worthless by comparison. Ok not COMPLETELY worthless. But come on...we know WWE isn't what it was. AEW doesn't do it for me. And etc. etc.

The one, non music related Muppet Show lost episode is because of a pedophile, for instance.

Until it starts happening I think the point is moot WWE has already done it themselves in the recent past (Mel Phillips), though there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to when they do or don't do it.

Mel came because a victim of his claimed to be stressed out when seeing him in a rerun. Benoit we know, but that was pre-Network. And only because of the media firestorm. They do it, but for very specific reasons.

I will say that no one had better try to take down Roddy because of this. In general.
First he isn't here to rebut. Second he was a cool guy by many accounts.
