Is...
not, the Cody/Brandi reality show TNT just purchased a season of called
A big move and should put to bed some of the more recent idiots mewling about TNT not enjoying everything All Elite.

To be clear, this isn't the second Turner show. That is still on the way.

As I said in the main thread, it’s not a show I’d watch but if you’re TNT and see what Total Divas/Bellas and Miz and Mrs are doing for E! and USA, you want to figure out a way to get a piece of that pie so that would make sense for them to approve a show like that.
And as people said, this is basically TNT showing confidence in how Dynamite is doing. This was a show that the head of programming for TNT publicly expected at least 400-500k. It hasn’t gone below that for 99% of Dynamite’s run so yeah, I’d be pretty ecstatic by that.

I loved Total Divas, so I'll be watching this. Great to see TNT expanding the AEW brand.

Total Divas drew hard for E, as does Total Bellas. Miz and Mrs does really well for USA
This is a move that I feel makes a ton of sense and as has been said is a GOOD MOVE if you love AEW and want TNT to believe they have a brand for many MANY years to come to keep investing into them as they are
This, on top of AEW's second upcoming wrestling show, and the Road To's for PPVs they also show on TV, shows TNT is investing into having AEW content and the brand. The future is bright, that's all that matters.

Yeah, will never care about it, but cool that it gives the promotion more money and more network goodwill.

Not my cup of tea. In fact, I hate these types of shows.
There is also a danger here: Hogan Knows Best destroyed my love of the Hulkster by revealing how messed up he and his family truly are. This show might do my harm than good for the Rhodes Family and AEW (I hope not).

Hopefully it’s more Total Bellas/Total Divas and less Miz & Mrs. quality-wise.

Oh cool, I was worried for a moment the misogynoir would slow down from a portion of wrestling fans. It'll be here right on schedule.

This is probably gonna be more run of the mill hijinks like the WWE Reality Shows.

I'll freely admit other than the politicking stories which I only half-believed at the time I thought he was a swell guy, until the show aired.

I am not a fan of reality TV shows at all, but there's a definite market for them. Some love watching these shows, even if they don't really know/care about the people before the show. Hopefully, it can be a good promotional tool for AEW as well as for the Rhodes.
(I say I won't watch, but I will search out all of the dog gifs after each show)

I don't have much of any interest of watching the show outside of cute Pharoah, Yeti, and Monterey Jack moments. But it's also a good sign of WarnerMedia and AEW's relationship going into the future. Also solidifies that Warner sees Cody and Brandi as two of the cross-promotional stars of the company, Cody's dumb neck tattoo aside.
TBH if they were up for it, a reality show with Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette could be a lot of fun. I caught them flipping channels on Total Divas when they were still dating and they were enjoyable.

I consider it nothing but a good thing that this is happening. Really shows TNT's faith in the brand and if anything it might help AEW in the long run by attracting more women to watch which is something they often struggle with.
I mean, there's zero chance I'll ever actually watch this thing, but I consider its existence nothing but a positive.

I'll probably tune in once or twice out of curiosity, but I don't think it'll likely be my jam, specifically.

AEW will have four hours of current TNT time in the future, Dynamite, Second Wrestling Show, Rhodes to the Top. Five on occassion counting their Road To hype shows for PPVs which are shown after Go-Home Dynamites
That's a big deal. I almost wonder if the second AEW show will go to two hours eventually. TNT REALLY likes them. Not only is that important for AEW's long term future on the brand, but also shows how strong AEW is that they're only growing through "A Wednesday War", a merger that saw some of the people who originally made the AEW deal forced out, and a Global Pandemic/Lockdown.
It's really impressive no matter what way you slice it. Have a feeling when it comes time to renew AEW's contract we're gonna see a more USA/FOX kinda deal because they've proved they earned it, especially also with NXT moving to Tuesdays them being the only Wednesday game in town, so we'll see.

Interesting all the people who say it’s good but will never watch it
Doesn’t the total divas audience not cross over to mainstream wwe and the wwe audience tends to hate the the total divas?
I can’t fathom the people who like AEW because they hate wwe will enjoy this. So will the people watch this show cross over to AEW ?
