Such heart breaking news. Very sad. I was here when this was a Wrestlecrap forum and they where on here and the forum they had before it. Ive been friend on FB with both RD and Blade for years. Talk to them both from time to time. RD almost weekly with the AEW chats. Blade and I had a couple close chances to meet in IRL. Since he filmed a movie here a couple years ago and not long ago he just told me he moved into the STL area. Blade was such a cool guy and sad to here he is now gone. RIP my friend.

No no no no no no. Although I haven't visited them much since our "divorce," Wrestlecrap brought be here. RD can't be doing well at all right now. He's lost so many friends over the years.

This sucks. While I fell out of Wrestlecrap, doing the let's watch videos for Wrestlecrap Radio was one of the first things I did online to have any notoriety.

I go back to the Wrestlecrap days, and this hits me hard, going 20 years knowing Blade & RD, going to the site, listening to Wrestlecrap radio and always enjoying Blade's tweets even.
RIP Blade Braxton, a truly entertaining human being that I am grateful to have known him, even if just through the tin can & string of the internet.

We lost a good friend today and I'm heartbroken right now. I listened to WrestleCrap Radio every week back in the day and if it was not for them, I may have never joined here. I would have never met so many friends and the love of my life... So many great moments, quotes and memories.
RIP Blade. You will be missed.

Outside of subbing to the WrestleCrap Archives a few years ago, I really haven't had much to do with the site since we split with them, what, a decade ago now? I never really listened to WC Radio either, so my memories of Blade will always be the stuff he wrote for the site back in the old days. There was one particular Someone Bought This where he tried out WWF Talking Soap and it had me rolling. And I'd be remiss not to mention Revenge of the Scorpion, which got him the gig as RD's partner in crime in the first place.
What on earth happened? I don't even know how old he was, but it was evidently too damn young. RIP Blade.

While I never had much in the way of interaction with Blade, his presence on this board as well as over on WrestleCrap is immeasurable. I wish we didn't have to say goodbye to him, but... we do. Thanks for everything, Mr. Brakestown.

I won’t speculate but RD has posted a goodbye text Blade sent. RIP Blade. Yeah, I definitely got a vibe from that that Blade either knew his time was up or was making the choice his time was up. Either way, f***ing awful. Haven’t talked to him since the WC/FAN split, but he was a fun guy to bullshit football with back in the day That's brutal, when you consider that it may mirror Merle's passing, which cannot be easy for RD to process. I hope he's doing OK.

Man, devastated to see this.
Blade seemed like a really nice and genuine guy. Gave me countless laughs for over a decade.
I hope it's not too inappropriate to say "I didn't even know he was sick"

Last time I had interaction with Blade was just last month on Facebook..
We share the same birthday (although we were born 5 years apart) I sent him a birthday well wish and he said thank you, and then he sent me a happy birthday a day later (Timezone thing)
