I seriously wish there was a Godfather's Pizza around me so I could properly honor Blade. I'll be going on a road trip in May and if I ever see a random small pizza shop I'll honor him at it.

So, I’m listening to the latest Wrestlecrap Radio, I hadn’t listened to it in a long time. I think I stopped listening because it became pretty non frequent. Like I think one year there was only 10 episodes the whole year.
But I’m listening to it now, and the nostalgia just hit me. And Blade was making me laugh and smile. That show was a pretty big part of my life in the mid to late 2000s, even had a Question of the Week read on the air once. Blade was a constant voice in my life for years. So listening to this last episode really hits me hard knowing that he’s gone.
Once again. RIP my man.

He will always be a part of us, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. I enjoyed his write-ups a lot.
RIP dear sir. Thank you.

I started on this board when I was 15 years old, way back when it was part of WC.
The strange (and beautiful) thing about the Internet is that sometimes we form genuine bonds with people we've never actually met in "real" life. That wasn't the case with Blade, but reading about the interactions you've had with him... it's both moving and tragic.
RIP Blade. Hope RD is doing as well as he can.

Wrestlecrap was, for a lot of us, our 'in' to the oddball angles and characters of wrestling that had been going on when we weren't paying attention to it, either as a new or a lapsed fan, or at a time where we thought it wouldn't get any crazier or crappier. Blade's contributions gave us our education and insight into both the naff and the niche, and we gained a richer knowledge of the industry as a whole and a whole new appreciation for what it did correctly. It taught us that being critical of the business need not be a chore, it can be a barrel of laughs, it could be fun.
Blade, you made our days pointing out everything wrong with wrestling feel absolutely right, and we'll miss you.

This was a shock when I found out yesterday. I've been a part of this forum since the early days when it was the WC forum. Blade gave myself and many others many laughs throughout the years and just seemed like a good dude in general. Blade provided us with a lot of great memories over a long period of time. He will be missed greatly.

Damn. I feel about this like I did Steve Irwin.
Someone who's work entertained me, however discovered them in the 00s and gone too soon.
RIP.

I’ve been coming here since I was 16 years old. I didn’t interact with the main site much and rarely post here, but I obviously know the names RD Reynolds and Blade Braxton very well. RIP Blade, thanks for creating this little slice of the internet that’s been a part of my life for more than half of it.

Always sad to see a member of the Wrestlecrap family go. R.I.P. Blade. Hopefully you are up there with Merle Vincent, and John Tenta telling stories and laughing up a storm.

I've been listening since the start of Wrestlecrap Radio. It's an awfully odd feeling to lose someone you feel like you know as a friend but have never met.
My heart goes out to Mr. Breakstown's friends and family, and thanks so much for 20 years of laughs.

I am the infamous Don...Don Bishop that got shouted out in a few WrestleCrap Radio episodes back in the day. I was even 1 of the "dozen listeners" in the crowd for the "final" WCR episode that they recorded at Days Of The Dead. More than that though, Blade became a friend along the way. At one point during my time as an event promoter, I managed to do some business with RD and Blade. I've dealt with a lot of jerks from wrestling and Hollywood, but Blade and RD proved to be two of the genuinely nice guys in the entertainment business. Whether they got paid well that show or not. Even after we stopped dealing with eachother professionally, Blade would still wish me a happy birthday or shoot me a text from time to time.
RIP to one of the actual nice guys of the world. You and your brand of WrestleCrap "entertainment" will be missed. He's writing haikus for angels now.

Yeah, this is kind of a shock. I listened to every episode of Wrestlecrap Radio from the very first one on. I always loved the interaction between him and RD. Almost reminded me of Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan. Blade was born in the same year as me, and now he isn't here anymore. RIP, and thanks for all the laughs.
