I knew this was coming as soon as I heard about Lashley winning the title. In WWE winners don't have friends.
I wonder if Vince thinks of himself as a winner.

From Fightful:
If you were shocked or unhappy about the split of The Hurt Business, you weren't alone. According to WWE sources, so were the members of the group.
Fightful was told that Vince McMahon alone made the decision to split up the Hurt Business last week on Raw, much to the chagrin of those in the group. We're told that he was set in his choice to fracture the group, even after MVP and Bobby Lashley were vocal about not being in support of the move. Sources indicated that both MVP and Lashley met with Vince McMahon about the idea, but the latter dug his heels in even more.
Based on several wrestlers that we spoke to, the decision, and McMahon's insistence to continue down that road was a blow to morale.

I'm not surprised that they broke them up. But I am surprised it lasted this long.

Feeding the dirt sheets so that the interference at Mania is even more unexpected, I like it.

Stephanie saying in an interview that Vince listens to the audience literally 2 days after breaking The Hurt Business was the highlight of the week for me.

Feeding the dirt sheets so that the interference at Mania is even more unexpected, I like it. Ahh yes, the “let’s not build good stories but instead work the sheets because they’re seen by a way smaller audience then your casual one”, a strategy that ignores the history of Vince changing his mind last minute from actual sources. Come on, man. EDIT: Also, there are other posts in response to this. Why you seem to reply to mine is really bugging me, if I’m honest. ?? It was a tongue in cheek response and you had the last post on the topic at the time. No offense intended.

Not sure if T-Bar and Mace are a good replacement, but it's better than Corbin.

Big E said it so I didn't have to. Not a fan of this at all. Pretty much. Vince just showed his whole ass, here (again). He'll never change. I don't want to jump the gun here, but it almost kinda feels like Vince lashing out because Universal (Peacock) is editing out his past racist content. "Oh yeah? Well you can't stop me from killing the heat from my successful, over black stable and trying to transfer it to the blandest white guy I've got!" Ironically, I still believe someone wanted a more diverse HB to keep people (imaginary or not) from complaining that they have a group of all POC, and they're villains. Maybe even Peacock.

Breaking up the Hurt Business was a huge mistake. They were one of the best things going on RAW, the people were behind them, and it was doing wonders for the careers of Lashley, Shelton, Cedric, and MVP. But just when things were beginning to peak for the group, WWE has Shelton & Cedric drop the tag titles, made them look weak in the following weeks later, and then abruptly break up the stable.
And that's not the only thing that was baffling in this storyline. Remember when Lashley got into it with Shelton and Cedric because he didn't want them to interfere, as it would make him look weak? Turns out, they did a 180 on this and had Lashley put a bounty out on McIntyre.
I feel bad for everyone involved here. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed having Lashley as the WWE Champion and I appreciate him going over Drew at Wrestlemania, but man, the God awful booking has massively dragged down what could've been an amazing storyline.

Too late. It looks like we're about to get Pastor Fiend/Bishop Fiend/Reverend Fiend, so a suit is around the corner.
