I know some weren't high on this angle before but I'm pretty pumped after that insanity tonight. Plus I'm excited to see a lot of the Nightmare Family lower carders get something to work with.

I said it in the live thread but after the elongated Shaq feud I could really use a good ol Cody melodramatic overwrought pro wrasslin sports entertainment storyline like this.

I like it, QT's a coward, it showed he couldn't beat Cody and he took the easy way out, he got young, impressionable people he trained up, to help try and elevate him to the next level, and now those peeps Comoroto, Ogogo, and Solow are going to reap the benefits as well
I feel like Cody/Ogogo might actually be what they go with here, with QT fighting Dustin, maybe both in a tag match, Comoroto might fight Lee Johnson and kill the other rookies, and then Solow pissed Billy and the Gunn Sons off... plenty of potetial here to just get a lot of young kids over
I know people are hung up on the fact QT's getting TV time, but there are literally like eight other wrestlers both veteran and young and hungry outside of both QT and Cody who are also now going to get TV time and a spotlight due to all of this, and that's a big picture I think some need to see.

I’m not too familiar with ‘em but the defectors all looked solid.

In isolation I thought it was a pretty good beatdown though I can't claim to actually care about seeing where it goes from here. Kind of part of a problem with having a stable implosion storyline when the only guy I care about in the stable is Cody and he's not been interesting in like a year in his own right.

I know people are not fans of QT and have Cody fatigue bur as a lower card feud to help get guys like Comoroto, Solow, Ogogo, Schotty, Austin, and Colton over? Why not. Cody and Dustin are still over even if they've been spinning their tires.
In short this is a chance for Cody, Dustin, and QT to hype their school which is good for business

We'll see how it goes. I'm one of those people that tend to think QT's not somebody you anchor a group to, even if it's designed to get others over, but time will tell how it all works out. I know Cody's purposely kind of keeping himself out of main events but I do think at some point he needs to get back there.

It's what he needs to do right now obviously but I think in a year or two they may want to reconsider the never challenging for the AEW title stip. If they do, hopefully he's a heel by that point.

As long as QT can harness that dickish energy he's got in Sammy's vlogs, he should work good here as a mouthpiece. It's not a stable we'll be saying main event PPVs any time soon, but maybe they can get a long term project in establishing Comoroto or Ogogo as a potential main event talent.

Think Ogogo will no longer be doing commentary on Dark now

Saw it coming a mile away, the only question was who besides Comoroto would jump ship with QT. Ogogo was a fair assumption given how much he puts QT and their connection over on commentary, but Solow was something of a surprise as he was closely associated with Lee Johnson. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

I like how it was played out
QT didnt go "Just as a planned".It just seemed like those guys naturally followed QT.
It wasnt because QT was a great athlete,or because he is a bad-ass,because he is a good mentor to then.
Also Marshall Law is an amazing name

The beatdown segment was great, although I can’t say I’m particularly excited about seeing any of the potential matches, except for maybe something with Camoroto who looked like a beast (not sure if he’s actually a good worker or not).

I wonder if this Nightmare Family civil war is going to lead to WARGAMES Blood and Guts?
Yeah I know Pinnacle vs Inner Circle is the better feud suited for that stipulation, but there is no way Cody is not going to want to take part in the match his dad created. And besides there is no law saying they can't have two of those matches in one show. (Like their soon to be former Wednesday night competition often did.)
