I want an episode that’s just 60 minutes of going through Dan Lambert’s belt collection. I knew he had a huge collection, but I’ve never seen a detailed breakdown of what all he owns

I could have even given them a lead, as one of them were sold on eBay years ago. Actually, any of the Global titles will do. TV title = Sam Houston apparently pawned it off in NC. NA title = Doug Gilbert said it's in Japan somewhere. LHW title = Danny Davis has it?

Sidenote 2, Luger looks so different, and while I understand he now does a lot to help others, I still hate him irrationally for what happened to poor Miss Elizabeth Lex has already paid for his crimes, none of which include Elizabeth's death. She probably had a lot of mental and emotional issues from being married to Randy for 7 years. It's probably because of how her life was for all those 7 years that she turned to whoever she could during her later life and that included Lex. There was probably even more of a bond between them than Randy and her as their relationship was all about control and paranoia. But so many fans blame Lex and I feel like it's not just Elizabeth and fans feeling like she was this pristine woman they knew from TV but also because of "work rate." Randy was an incredible in ring talent and worked his way up. Lex got too much too soon and with very little talent and mostly body image and I think that's why a lot of fans blame Lex more so than Randy. From the 5 years I worked with drug addicts and alcoholics and even becoming a severe alcoholic myself, it's the past that has led someone to a drug addiction. The present circumstances and friendships may be keeping them in the addiction but it's the past and emotional and mental issues that brought it on which in Elizabeth's case is all Randy's fault. Lex also needs to be forgiven. The tone was just so different. Wonder if that supposed heat between Vince and Randy still exists? I’ve never believed the stupid ass Stephanie rumors, but Vince brought back everybody at least once and Macho never came back even to have a farewell run. Imagine how cool it would have been to see Macho give a HOF speech or make an appearance at WrestleMania. I've read before that Vince blamed Randy for Elizabeth's death. Whether someone made that up or not as it's not like Vince shows much emotion but I believe it to be true. He probably looked at Elizabeth like a daughter much like he looked at Bret like a son despite not too much age difference between them both. It was over 10 years since the divorce but again, there had to have been so much built up that I get Elizabeth would feel the need to turn to a darker place. And I'm glad that Dark Side and this WWE biography was willing to not gloss over some of the negative things in Randy's life. Their marriage was a match made in heaven but it was also a match made in hell and that is all Randy's fault.

Lawler: "King of the Ring was my debut in the WWF" No it wasn't! When they said that Summerslam 96 was the last time Undertaker wore the purple gear, I just automatically assumed it was incorrect and looked it up. He kept it for the next two PPV matches, and then first appeared in all black for the Survivor Series match against Mankind where Paul Bearer was locked in a shark cage.

Jason...I was actually going to post something akin to this just now.
As it was reran last Sunday, I had a musing about the Savage doc:
As you asked...if it was someone who WASN'T an IWC darling, even someone the IWC strongly dislikes, would we be okay with, essentially, a Self-Destruction piece? Would we be more willing to believe and accept the guilt?
It's hard to tell sometimes with wrestling fans, remember, we still have a LOT who defend Chris Benoit even today. And don't get me started on the deniers/"Sullivan did it!" (I don't TOTALLY buy the "he didn't know he was doing, because CTE" but that's another story)
As for Lex, he was always VERY cordial to me when I met him. I hope this is a clue as to how repentant/changed as a person he is.
And I do understand the want for a balanced picture of certain celebrities. It's been 21 years but I am STILL angry about a certain "authorized" biography about Dusty Springfield, which was poorly researched (by one of the creators of Ready Steady Go!...go fig!) and barely even mentions her importance to music. At least A&E recognized Savage as an iconic character and wrestler. No, the book focused more on Dusty's personal demons. Not only that, but it ages even more poorly as a homophobic piece of trash, since a lot of the selling point was "Dusty had same-sex relationships, be horrified!"

Glad somebody fact checked that, because I was sure the purple gear might have hung around until as late as Royal Rumble. I was sure it definitely wasn’t SummerSlam

lord, i HATE vince russo's silliness. shit is so embarrassing and took away from booker's night Booker only had his night because of Russo. Hogan refused to not win the title that night and if it wasn't for Russo going out of his way to do the "Screw you Hogan" story/shoot, then Booker wouldn't have gotten the title. Not completely true. The story (which I believe was confirmed by Bischoff) was that Hogan was supposed to win the title, a “shoot” promo by Russo was supposed to happen, Booker was supposed to win and then Hogan would return later claiming he was the real champ leading to Hogan vs Booker. That went out the window when Russo went for Hogan’s soul with that promo. (Not to say the entire angle had to be put together to placate Hogan’s ego anyways. Let’s not kid ourselves that Hogan wasn’t going over.)

Jason...I was actually going to post something akin to this just now. I'm glad we are on the same page. Lex was always friendly even pre stroke. It's the mindset of "didn't pay his dues so he must be arrogant" that fans have run with for years. Plus the anger of Elizabeth's death. Dave Penzer from WCW interviewed Lex himself a few years ago and Dave asked why Lex didn't enjoy the Lex Express. Lex was very surprised at hearing this and said he enjoyed it and didn't know why anyone would say he didn't. It's that so many have run with the rumor that Lex was unappreciative of fans that has caught so much steam. I think Elizabeth's deaths is one of the biggest shames in wrestling but Lex being blamed for it is just as shameful. He did assault her and cheat on his wife, yes, but he has been punished enough and again deserves no punishment for her death. Luckily he is a guy who used that to better himself and be kind to others. It stinks Randy isn't alive to get a chance to defend himself but it's also good this stuff is coming to light. I'm sure the whole McMahon family and many backstage agents especially loved Elizabeth and sure they all know what was going on was wrong.

How many more of these? I've heard that the last 3 are going to be Shawn (airing this Sunday, ironically against Backlash), Bret, and Warrior.

So the next episode of Most Wanted Treasures will have Jake Roberts. I wonder how far in advance these shows were taped.

On that subject, during the Shawn Michaels episode, they were promoting Jake's episode as the next "new" one airing on May 30, yet they also plugged the Ultimate Warrior episode for this coming Sunday.

That was a really good documentary as well.
So far, only the Macho Man one has been, well, not bad, just not as good.
Looking forward to the rest, and hope we get a second series.
