I got this computer today. Is it any good? Anyone have any experience with Acer computers? I plan on using it to surf the web and watch streams. I ask because I've heard of Acer products breaking soon after purchase, and I've heard horror stories about Acer's customer service. www.amazon.com/Acer-TC-895-U.../dp/B088X2YR3X

I don't know about Acer but if all you are going to do is surf and watch streams it should be fine. Even something like Photoshop would benefit from a dedicated graphics card, for example. Reading the reviews on that page it doesn't look like it's very easily upgradeable should you wish to put a graphics card in (not that you can get one of those nowadays) or replace the PSU.

I have an Acer gaming Laptop, and it works great so far, albeit it can chug playing even midrange games. I will say that the i5 CPU is pretty basic, and you could probably find an Acer tower with a i7 for the same price if you look around.
And TBF, if you're only using it for streaming and web browsing, you may just be better off getting a Chromebook or something similar for much cheaper.

OK, but I'm mostly worried about it breaking soon after purchase, because I've heard that about Acer products, and heard horror stories about their customer service.
