Ibushi apparently is wanting to challenge for The NWA Title. Comparing Ibushi to Aldis to quote Bobby Heenan "Comparing Ice Cream to Horse Manure." That'd certainly be an interesting proposition, Ibushi winning it. I guess it'd be like when Kojima won it, NJPW putting some eyes on them, but I don't know if Billy will bite at that, since he's kept it on Aldis for so damn long.

Wasn't Hikuleo suppose to be heading back to Japan, be better if he was teaming with his Brothers instead of Jado being out there

Suzuki has been rather aimless this year so far, hasn't really been involved in anything or feuding with anyone.

That match with Kanemaru/Despy opposite RPG3K/Kidd certainly feels like it. I guess it's inevitable, but it also makes his brief resurgent periods feel that much more special.

The time for that was when he first came back a few years ago but we all know NJPW still not trusting freelancers with the main title Suzuki had some great years, demolishing Tana for the IC title, him and Goto going to war over the NEVER title In a non pandemic world, Suzuki would be my U.S. champ cause he travels and can defend it

Tanahashi takes the award for comment of the tour when referring to his match tagging with Yano against Gedo and Dick Togo.
"As for today's tag match.........the average age in that ring was high!"

Yeah, if nothing else, it might be like Piper, who resisted world title offers because he felt like title belts left him beholden to promoters. As it is, Suzuki can take pretty much any booking he wants within reason, something he could not do as the world champion. Besides, he has won the main titles for NOAH and AJPW, so it is possible that he doesn't feel compelled to make those kinds of concessions just to become world champion again. It's hard to say, though. Tanahashi takes the award for comment of the tour when referring to his match tagging with Yano against Gedo and Dick Togo. "As for today's tag match.........the average age in that ring was high!" It's funny. They clearly know this is odd, and that Gedo and Jado, especially, wrestling is very rarely ideal, but it's what they're stuck with right now. I imagine that, even with their skeleton crew, they still want to not risk overworking the people they do have. I still really am champing at the bit for when bringing people in is safer. The variety is sorely missed.

Whatever happened to Mikey Nicholls, did he quit New Japan or something as he hasn't been seen in a year.

I actually thought New Japan would have seriously considered giving him a run after Mutoh won the GHC so he could be the 4th man to have held the GHC, Triple Crown, and IWGP titles.
