First reaction: "Good to see human civilization hasn't ended."
Second reaction: Look up historical events to see if there's anything bad I can prevent.
Third reaction: Look up sports records and get rich.

Yep, sports results.
I saw a movie once where a kid had a plan to bet on future sports events because he would know all the results.
The plan worked perfectly without any sort of damaging consequences.

I did not consider this when I made this thread. But I guess I could look up any major disaster that will happen over the next few decades and do my absolute best to warn as much people as possible in the affected areas before they happen... at the risk of sounding crazy. To me it would hurt so much. Because you know the first big disaster everybody would think you are a crackpot. So you'd be talking to people that laugh in your face right before they die. The second disaster you'd still get a bunch of people that think you are a crackpot, although you'd at least get a couple more to believe you this time. Problem is that by the third disaster you never know what the Butterfly Effect could have done. Or you'd be like "Hey a tsunami is coming, get everybody out of here!" and it results in a traffic jam because everybody thinks you are now a prophet and everybody in the traffic jam dies... resulting in more death than if you just let the tsunami hit the city without warning. Then you get into the weird shit with the amount of people that would literally think you are a god/prophet. It's a slippery slope I wouldn't want to tempt. While being a prophet/god might sound cool to some, read into history about the lives of those people. They normally end up horribly murdered/tortured/publicly executed. Make too much money sportsbetting and you are going to face consequences. The overall safest option is to quietly research stocks/breakthrough's/trends and invest accordingly in amounts that wouldn't cause disruption. What I mean is: you can't invest like a million into a dude inventing the next facebook while he's living in a garage, that would probably drastically alter everything. You'd have to purposely hold off on investments until they become somewhat popular, and that's not something I think most people have willpower to do. Then here's the big curveball: When you are reading Wiki you notice that your descendant became a serial killer/terrorist/Canadian SuperHitler. What would that do to you mentally? Yeah, I was thinking about major disasters to just be prepared but something else to consider after reading your post, how long after you warn people about things like terror acts or wars or things like that until you become either the main suspect or are committed for taking about getting this info from a computer that could see into the future? I'd still want to know for my family's sake but even then they'd talk and the problems start again. So for me, I'd still want to know what I need to be preparing for, also things like stocks and lottery numbers. I'd probably try to avoid sports info so the enjoyment/heartache would still be there. Or find some sport I didn't really care about and try to find a way to use that to my advantage.

With the saving people from impending disaster thing. And you don’t want to look crazy and a potential suspect.
Well maybe you should make the money from betting and investing. Use the money somehow to warn unanimously. How? Ummm post the warnings on billboards around the areas they are going to happen, set up something online so you can post these warning unanimously on social media.
Sure they won’t be taken seriously at first, but as things unfold people will take notice.

Look dammit, I'm way too busy looking at pictures of Charlotte Kirk to bother going to wikipedia at all.
