night two was just as good IF NOT BETTER, from a purely wresting perspective
from the turn by alexa to the triple threat title match, all incredibly solid matches too ...
spot of the night must be when edge AND bryan put on their moves on reigns! the champs facial expressions were hilarious!
overall a damn fine wrestlemania

By the way, coming out of this... Bianca Belair, only babyface champion standing. Men’s world belts, Reigns and Lashley, HEEL. Other women’s belt, Ripley, HEEL. Midcard belts, Sheamus and Crews, HEEL. Tag belts, Styles and Omos, Ziggler and Roode, Baszler and Jax, HEEL, HEEL, HEEL. Fascinating times coming out of this. (Yeah, there’s R-Truth and the 24/7 belt, but that doesn’t count) This heavy emphasis on dominant bad guys seems like a weird flex for a company whose ethos is to “put smiles on people’s faces” (with their current opening intro even going out of their way to focus on that), but okay.

I looked back at some of last year’s Mania and all I could think was how nice it was to have actual world title matches this year, compared to the 3-5 minute spamfests we got for both of the main titles last year.
Let’s keep the Lesnars and Goldbergs away from the titles please.

There has to be some kind of middle ground between heel dominance and face dominance. I get the whole thing here can be off-putting, but surely you don’t want faces winning 100% of the time without facing and overcoming any sort of narrative hardship, right? That’d just feel hollow.

While I agree... Mania itself was generally the end of the big storylines and the faces usually came out of it successful for the most part... of course that did lead to later things of "LEAVE IT UNTIL WRESTLEMANIA" that ruined storylines and pushes...
